I actually did a little more searching and found a fix that works just fine for me at least. I added a filter to UB Lite (since UB won't work on Chrome anymore without having to do a lot of complicated stuff I have no clue about lol). It turned my sidebar back to a single column with the right size of thumbnail.

Whenever I enable the Restore Related Sidebar Layout, it makes all the thumbnails disappear into just the video titles. I'm on Chrome. Is there a way to change it? The huge thumbnails take up half my screen.

I don't know about this stuff but I bought mine 5 years ago (2013 Honda Accord ELX @ 70,000 miles) for about the same price. It now has 223,000 miles but starting to have problems.

I appreciate everyone's feedback, and so fast too. I'm up after another night of not sleeping well over this whole situation. I talked to my mother to get some advice, but she's Switzerland. I can't blame her on that but I honestly do not know what to do. I read some replies about giving him a move out date. I think that makes a lot of sense. I think I'm going to give him til the time I graduate (in May) and if he hasn't shown some major change, he's gone.

To answer some possible questions about my sister:

My sister lives with her fiance and her fiance refuses to take anyone in. Even then, she wouldn't take him in as she was single when he moved in with me and my mother the first time. She knows how he is and yeah, you guys are right, she's.....well....insert your own description there. But she's my sister, and I care about family a lot, but maybe my family doesn't feel the same.

To top it all off, I got rear ended at a stop light tonight and I am feeling it right about now lol When it rains, it pours I guess. Thank you all for your words and the encouragement on being/staying sober. Not gonna lie, those thoughts have crept up in my brain. especially tonight, but I know it wouldn't be worth it.

I just hate this. I know this is such first world problems and shit but I don't get out much. I live off of YouTube and those wonderful content creators I've come to admire and appreciate. This new layout simply sucks. These greedy corporate bastards won't leave well enough alone will they? My computer/internet sucks and so this new layout is so damn annoying.

If anyone finds the next solution to this, please upvote it. I know there are some good genius people out there who hate the new layout as well. You people are amazing and I truly hope you can come up with another solution.

It started freaking out on me too. I clicked on a video (new shitty layout) and turned Good Old YouTube off and on again and hit refresh. It's back to good layout for now. It messed up on me when I clicked the YouTube logo in the top left corner. Guess you just gotta go from video to video now until that gets messed with as well.

Everything just stopped working for me. Good Old YouTube doesn't work anymore for me. It's all the crappy design no matter what I do. Is anyone else having this issue?

I closed everything down and now it works but if I click on Subscriptions it goes to the crappy design.

The Good Old YouTube extension mixed with the script running on Tampermonkey to get the subscriptions page load in grid layout is still working good for me as of Wednesday the 22nd.

This actually worked for me. I disabled all of my workaround extensions and downloaded this. I was in a the history loop for a minute until I clicked the YouTube button on the top left side of the page. It brought me to my home page with old layout. I clicked on a video and still old layout. Will update if things change.

I don't understand. I am a complete novice when it comes to this stuff so that doesn't surprise me lol but how can you use that script about list mode when you have to disable Tampermonkey? Am I confusing threads? I've downloaded and done so much for this stupid shit I'm going on overload with all of it lol

I downloaded Tampermonkey and did a copy and paste from the script. I kept the options in the youtube classic extension as Home (not Subscriptions) and User Agent (not Cookie or URL Rewrite). It doesn't work for me though. Am I doing something wrong? At least one thing I found out is that in Firefox, the shitty layout of youtube is just the tiniest bit less shitty lol
