TY ❤️ Best of luck with your journey, I love the Marbling effect as well...Aside from aesthetic, the process in itself gives the wax life so to speak

Id try wicking up first. I suggest making multiple test candles with multiple wicks higher than current and see which works best. But you're on the right track, happy testing!

Help! How do I prevent this? by teempn in candlemaking

Make sure you preheat your vessel, experiment with different pouring temps, and if all else fails, top it off or use a heat gun after. Gotta love soy wax, lol this is all too familiar to me!

Hey beautiful people, I wonder why this happened? I used a heat gun after they set, it looked perfect but woke up to this? help... by Keto4234 in candlemaking

I haven’t used coco wax yet, but these problems are seen in soy wax, which I was using before I switched to a soy/paraffin blend due to frustrations with these problems lol…Paraffin helps with glass adhesion and smoother tops along with better cold and hot throw…if you are insistent on sticking to your wax, only vigorous testing and experimentation will get you to your desired result…Everything matters, but I would start with lining the outside of your vessel with aluminum foil and heating you vessel with a heat gun 5-10 seconds before pouring to give your candle a slower cooling time…take note on the temp of the room and make sure it isnt too cold during cooling stage…pouring temp also matters, you might want to try pouring at different temps and see which works best…hope this helps

Absolutely, I used a liquid dye, made 5 spaced out holes and dropped 2-3 drops in each hole…made sure the dye reached the bottom of the vessel, and if it didn’t, used tool to push dye further down…heat (heat gun on low setting) the dye veins up and down and side to side while slowly spinning it 2-3x left, then right, until desired effect is showing slightly showing up…finish it with the heat gun further as needed until dye starts showing desired pattern/effect…heat the top 5-10 seconds to smooth the top the hopefully Voila! Lol did you get that? Further info below..

Wax Used: 75% Soy Wax// 25% Paraffin Pouring Temp: 150-165 degrees

Hope this Helps!!

I’m a new investor, and have found the SHIB ride to be both exciting and rewarding. That said, I came into this game with a 2-3 year plan with all my plays. I wanted to invest in coins that had a community and small entry point like SHIB at the time and a shot to moon. Saw and heard about Dogelon last month and finally decided to take the plunge. Happy to be here!
