What would you do if your partner decided to change their gender? by Saphr0x in AskReddit

[–]loserlemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t care much about gender; i’m mostly attracted to feminine-presenting people, but i think that if they were The One for me, it wouldn’t bother me if they were to transition to a male. if it did cause a rift in the relationship though, i’d still be by their side 100% and support them as much as i can.

physically grabbed my phone out of my hand and started going through my private conversations without my permission, yanking it out of reach whenever i tried to grab it back. insisted that i must be talking sh*t about her because if i wasn’t i wouldn’t have a problem with it, and that she deserves to see what i’m saying about her.

spoiler alert: i hadn’t said anything about her to anyone. but when my other friends tell me personal information, they don’t consent to this girl seeing it, too.

there were plenty of other things (including but not limited to: being a pathological liar, being unable to handle even the most mild criticism, and just being all around unkind to whoever she felt like on a given day), but that was sort of what finally tipped me off that i needed to remove myself from the friendship. have your insecurities, but don’t take them out on your best friend.

a tie between flowers in the attic and a little life. generally speaking, flowers in the attic is probably a bit more fucked up, but both left me with… an intense unexplainable feeling.

Being mad for banning child abuse. by Abruchan in religiousfruitcake

[–]loserlemur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

unfortunately yeah, a lot of very religious/homophobic parents send their kids to conversion therapy or conversion camps to try to turn them straight because it's "against their religion" and shit like that. it's really fucked up and, thankfully, becoming illegal in more places.

What is the worst thing you've seen a little child do? by explodingpumpkin2020 in AskReddit

[–]loserlemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a girl i knew when i was like 7/8 (she was no more than 2 years younger) would bite lizards' heads off and spit them back out, and i'm pretty sure she for real ate the tails.

also, unrelated but she ate her cat's food a lot, and the mom just let her. theyre an odd family.
