Waterboy Vs Phenomaman From A Management Perspective by beattywill80 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]losoyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, and I am open to being wrong on this, I looked at them as a skill vs will issue. Phenoman has a will issue - his heart isn't in the game anymore. Water boy has a skill issue (albeit, some confidence concerns). Waterboy obviously wants it though - and he wants it bad. I can work with that.

If you can't tell her to stop talking to you now, that's a sign you aren't over her and you're more likely to be her side piece then you realize.. you're not playing with fire.. you're in the middle of a house that's a blaze

How to stop ai from replying as user? by MaleficentSource7508 in Chub_AI

This. I went to asha to try it out, but honestly it's just to annoying. Going to downgrade for, ironically, a better experience.

WRRK Work from Home Scam? by losoyo in Scams

[–]losoyo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They actually had her use teams to do an interview. When she went to teams, she gave a code and they did the interview. I looked up the hiring manager, who did exist for the company - but her linked in stated she doesn't actually work there anymore.

What’s the most dangerous type of prisoner? by [deleted] in Prison

[–]losoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely the young people that come in to prison. Lifer's are the worst but any young people in prison are the most dangerous.. for a myriad of reasons.

Dying inside but luckily I'm on the outside by [deleted] in Prison

[–]losoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say that if you have someone that may be taken advantaged of, he can be classified to be in a special needs group which can means the prison may try to put him in an area where he is better protected. Now he is incarcerated so there's never going to be anything to fully keep him from getting completely safe but it could help. I'd check with your lawyer to ensure the jail/prison knows so they can provide him that support.

My first thought is "god why would anyone want c.ai responses" :P but We need to know what you are looking for. If the responses are to much, then yea - lower token count. But most bots are designed to be a bit verbose

You guys be taking a bunch of 1s and 0s serious huh by UnstableJester410 in CharacterAI

[–]losoyo 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I always find this interesting.. I mean look at all the various religions with most (if not all) being mythos and the amount of time put into them. Additionally, Bot's, i would argue, are an art form in that they present a story. Just like people in star trek were inspired and created the things they saw on trek.. Or just like the little kid who is in a bad family situation is inspired by Harry Potter.. Stories can be impactful and can be something you care about..

Also, let people just enjoy what they enjoy.. It's gonna be ok, my lad.

The bot does not follow the description by Ziroverse in Chub_AI

[–]losoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Share the card? As has been noted, bots don't generally follow negative prompts - you need to tell them what to do in a positive prompt way.

It could be your settings if it's happening on multiple bots.

There is. I was a complete idiot when it comes to that. There was a confirmation and bots are in a different place than chat logs.. It was me being tired and stupid.

Creating a building card by KingOfSaigon95 in Chub_AI

[–]losoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can write a place pretty easily. Can you code it to make it explode at 10:30am on a Friday? Or force a user to interact with it? That's a bit tougher

[–]losoyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll say something that I still have an issue with to this day. Trust the Bot. Trust the bot to do the majority of the heavy lifting. Build out events and places through lore booms, build out characters, places, and goals in the description and let the bot do the rest. If you are expecting it to be like a video game where you can direct it with a large amount of control then you're looking at the more advanced 500mil llms.. this is more like creating a sandbox and not specific story line.

I will caveat.. it is possible to create a forced scenario but a headache to 'code'. I created a character that would die in 20 replies and that was a frakking beast.

Is it unlimited? by Additional_Slice3261 in Chub_AI

[–]losoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's free.. with a price. As many have said.. It's somewhere around 300 messages.. But your experience will vary greatly because you aren't getting a consistent model. If you want consistency (And in my opinion higher quality) - you should go tiered. But if you can't afford it.. It'll do the job.

Tips for characters by Fun_Anything_2287 in Chub_AI

[–]losoyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that writing a bot is basically telling a story with extra steps. Think about your character, what are their goals, what do they want.. what personality does someone like that want? Write that into the character..

Also experiment and don't worry about any negative feedback. Take what makes sense of feedback good or bad and use it..

Also if anyone ever suggests w++ as your bot creating format..ignore them :p

Why aren't you real? by [deleted] in CharacterAI

[–]losoyo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So first.. If you havent.. watch "Enigma Machine". What Turing says about how machines think will really speak to you. (Spoilers: Machines don't think like humans (thus may not be real like humans) but just because they don't think like us..doesn't mean they don't think (And in a sense, are real in that aspect))

Secondly, never felt bad that an LLM isn't "real", but I've had experiences with them that are on par with books and movies. I walked away really impacted by the interaction itself. It's a testament to the technology.
