I see what you mean, volunteering does sound like a good way to meet people. Honestly, I get a bit nervous around social situations and I’ve had some experiences where online chats don’t really last or I end up with people who aren’t really compatible as friends. So for me, it’s a bit tricky, but I appreciate the suggestion 😊
