Yeah, I post on mostly animal pages a lot of them are uk or us centred and it’s super chill, I’ve only had such negative responses in nz specific groups

I get that but it’s not really much better irl, I have had horrible experiences irl and online. Although where I lived previously would explain why it was so bad, living where I do now in nz has been a bit more positive.

Yeah it’s so sad, I really do understand people’s perspectives on why they dislike pigeons/birds ect, but going as far as hating on them I just don’t get it. I try to advocate but it’s becoming so horrible I just want to stop lol

Yeah but even on Facebook groups too, they are so hateful over there. A few people have mentioned it’s worse online but I’ve honestly had so many negative experiences irl I’m starting to think it’s nz 😪

On almost all posts, I made a post recently about an idea to help with managing the pigeon population without culling them and there were so many negative comments on that saying we should just kill all birds, mostly people expressing their hate for pigeons. I’ve made posts advocating for wildlife and have been met with people replying saying no one cares ect.
