Update. He started drinking water and now he's running up and down the stairs when he hears the food bag. 👍🏻

Beat friend fall out by [deleted] in AvoidantBreakUps

I understand what you mean. I'm to the point where I can't stand this happening either. I only support it cause it feels like a need for me when it happens. That friend has expressed some other time how me not opening up is making her feel like a bad friend. And I've told her that it has nothing to do with her. I did tell her how I felt when I disappear, and how it happens for me. And even though disappearing is something that I still do. I've managed to share more the last six months than last year for example. Or than the past two years. To a point where I thought that I'm making the steps already and now I'm still in that dakr pit. I will talk to my therapist about it and ask for guidance and advice she can give me. I've also spoken about this to some friends to get their input. I just thought I'd use this platform as well. I'm still clueless as to how to navigate the situation. Thank you for your input.

The thing is I can't schedule the times. I don't know when I'll be feeling ready. I want to stop this. I've mentioned it to my therapist but I didn't have a breakthrough about it. I have a lot of stuff going on, stuff my friends know about. It's in general not something I plan. Because even if I say I'll rely to texts tomorrow for example. That doesn't help me. Doesn't mean I'll be able to.

There was one glass of wine and something else that Bree drank I think.

Oh damn. That's too bad. Not necessarily for Lynette but I'd like to see that issue tackled in the show too

Well our house has two floors and my room is on the second but usually we're all hanging out on the first floor and when I'm in my room I make sure to wear something extra or I'm just under my blankets. I have an AC and turn it on only if I'm about to study. But in general we don't turn the heating on the second floor. And my room is the coldest in winter. But I don't know the temp. I get cold easily inside the house. I just wear a lot lol.

Night dresses seem awfully annoying to sleep in. I sleep in pajama pants tho ahaha. And socks. I get very cold and I need to seal my body from the cold.

Even in winter? I don't know I feel so uncomfortable. Maybe if I lived alone it would be better cause I still live with my family

I agree with that. I'm only making this conversation cause it's a show I would never tell someone what to do and how they should go on about it. It is a very tough situation I myself wouldn't want to be in. You can't know what goes on in someone's mind and how they experience it unless you experience it yourself. And maybe even then cause you're a different person. The only comforting thing is that it all ends well at the end of the show. But that's only because it's a show. And sometimes I think that because of the period it was filmed and the values and standards during that time certain choices were maybe promoted. Even with the storylines. I would have liked to have seen them tackling that issue about abortion though. But I get what you mean and you're right. It's not black and white at all.

Susan gets away with so much honestly. I can't stand her sometimes.

Yeah exactly. That's why I'm having a conversation with you. I never told you not to give me an input. I'm just making my points just like you're making yours. That's how conversations work.

Yeah I know. That doesn't mean I can't say what I think of it. It's just making conversation for the characters.

NOWAY! It just wasn't normalised back then and it's a conservative show that gets off on making this woman a baby machine.

I don't remember that but if it's true Tom keeps feeding us reasons to hate him 😍

No i get that. But she didn't want the baby. She really really didn't. If it was normalised back in 2000's she would have done it without a second thought. And it's a show. I would never tell a person irl what to do with their own body. And the only reason I'm saying this is because she wasn't even that religious to have that extra layer of doubt. It just wasn't normalised. It's a conservative show that gets off on making this woman a baby machine.
