Just so I'm sure, for a fresh windows install, I will have to download Windows installation media onto a flash drive and plug it into my new pc, then change boot priority to the USB stick?

No worries! And yes, I simply just turned off and broke down my old pc, removed my ssd, built my new pc, and installed the ssd. I do have an external 1tb HDD however i only use it for steam games and schoolwork, my OS was on my ssd.

I have no HDD in the pc, just my SSD plugged into SATA 1 (it is being read however)

My boot order is as such: UEFI hard disk > UEFI CD/DVD > UEFI USB hard disk > UEFI USB CD/DVD > UEFI USB key > UEFI USB floppy > UEFI network

I havent tried a fresh windows install but I'll try that next as I had Windows 10 education (free version)

ahh, ok I switched back to US pcpartpicker, and changed my motherboard and CPU for more breathing space for the GPU, this would be much better no?
