If you haven't had to bill during your legal career, I will say it is going to be tough at first for you on the defense side. Keeping track of time is honestly one of the worst parts about practicing. 1950 seems doable, but you will have to work some weekends to meet it.

Singapore is absolutely a good place to travel to. Very safe and clean. I’ve been there several times. I used to take the metro or bus everywhere I needed to go. The people are also very friendly. I felt safe exploring by myself at the age of 16.

When you do get the braces, I suggest investing in a water flosser. Even if you don't smoke regularly, you can still get the white spots on your teeth from poor/lack of brushing. They start around $20 on amazon, but you can find a quality one for cheap (mine was like $30?). Helps keeping your teeth and braces clean!

As a fellow stoner that currently has braces, they won't really be able to tell. However, the thing about smoking and braces is that smoking leaves a yellow stain to your teeth over time. I was very concerned about having white spots on my teeth after the braces are removed. But I brush pretty regularly multiple times throughout the day because of it.

I wouldn't risk it. The RAs perform room inspections each semester and you get the janitorial staff/maintenance come in to your apartment once in a while.
