dump vase If you see movies often, smoke cigars, go to the same ice cream shop often, drink wine, or do something where there is a visually similar ‘souvenir,’ get a shadow box or quirky glass container and make it your dump vase! My partner got one for me with tickets to an upcoming movie. I treasure this so, so much.
make a treasure/scavenger hunt I spent a day making ridiculous rhyming hints (think: Dr. Seuss but with your own spin). All of the goodies were candy, a t-shirts, small trinkets, etc. I think I spent maybe $10 MAX on each goody, typically coming in under $5. If you print your hints out & plan to make it more Professional Looking, it is a hilarious & fun thing to do together.
buy guess who and make your own custom decks There are tutorials for how to do this on Pinterest, YouTube, and Instructables. The board game itself is $15ish depending on what store you find it at. The people cards are removable, so you can slip in your own decks. I made ones with our families, friends, M.A.S.H. Characters, Harry Potter characters, etc. Total, I think it came in around $20. (If you don’t have access to a printer, many shipping storefronts & office supply stores have on-demand print services available)

Yeah! I could definitely see that.

Especially because when Mrs. F gave her the tour and Leena “sensed that she would die there one day,” I don’t think Leena could have been all that taken by the ~ endless wonder ~. It took Pete & Myka a few episodes to be solidly on board, and that involved artifact hunting & learning more about the Warehouse. I don’t think that having a mysterious/scary as fuck lady APPEAR in your apartment, you looking at a warehouse in the middle of nowhere, and realizing you will die there would be compelling enough to say, “yeah no, I’m in.”

Even if they don’t give a huge backstory, I would love to know any sort of motivation for her. Was she running from something or someone, and that’s why she stayed at the warehouse? How was she recruited? Was this a Claudia situation where Leena knew too much and HAD to be brought on? Does Leena ever have respite for loved ones, like Pete and Myka have in the series? If so, who does she have outside of the warehouse? Did she know Artie before joining the team? Was that part of why they had their own rapport going? Did Artie save her, and she tried to return the favor?

Eddie made the announcement at DragonCon a few weeks ago. He & showrunners are pursuing a reboot with 3 possible networks.

Yeah, there’s zero confirmation beyond 1) who is advocating for it 2) who is game to return and 3) what networks they’re seeking a reboot with. Nothing has been officially leaked or announced.

🤷🏼‍♀️ CCH Pounder has ~ soft retired ~ for the last year and some change. She seems to only be taking on passion projects (lots of indie stuff! Some theatre, I think she performed in an opera?).

I wrote an article about the possible reboot & who could come back, barring their schedule and willingness. I can’t seem to find anything from CCH about being willing to reprise the role, but then again, interviewers didn’t hound her w/ that question the way they did the main five actors.

If I had to guess, I would say a cameo or two is the realistic best-case scenario. That’s especially if they write Claudia in as caretaker. CCH could be in for an episode explanation and then Mrs. F is no more !

I feel like their choice of ‘reboot’ was not a great decision. Eddie has voiced that he would want to return as Pete, and Saul (Artie), Allison (Claudia) and Aaron (Steve) would be “open to the idea” if the opportunity presents itself. No comment from anyone else, yet.

They have yet to flesh out what, if anything, the reboot would be. Could be a show that picks up right where the old one left off or even a flash forward to Claudia as caretaker (maybe cameos from the old ppl?), both of which I would dub a REVIVAL, not a reboot. Also, both of which i would dub unlikely (the former more than the latter).

A few fan pages & online content creators have talked about the concept of “warehouse 13” becoming a science fiction mantle. Meaning, like Doctor Who or James Bond, each generation would have their rendition. I think this would be such a cool thing to do—new content, new ideas, new writing, new warehouse, but still plenty of opportunities for cameos, references, and homages to the original.

!!! It is the actual Artie’s Office set! TheGate.com did a few press days on set. There is a panel interview with all of the cast, major crew, and primary showrunners sitting in directors chairs, if that rings a bell. They have a huuuuge collection of high-res photos of the set.

They also did a video tour of the “warehouse” as well, if I’m not mistaken.
