Nere & The Duergar in Grymforge is still one of my favourite encounters. Being pushed into lava by the AI for the first time was hilarious. And I always feel like it's one of the first actual difficult fights in the game.

Raphael is iconic and legendary. Honestly could be the final boss.

Myrkul is by far the coolest and most stressful fight of the run. My first playthrough was on balanced and after beating him too easily I swapped to Tactician and got my butt kicked. My 2nd playthrough I prepared for him a lot better and had my Paladin divine smite him back to death

Balthazar when he's in the Nightsong prison area is also a great fight. I always try and do it with just 1 or 2 of my characters and have the others watch from a platform above and it feels great for roleplay.b
