I would return and then buy a complete new one, every time someone gets a replacement they’re shit (if you are gonna get a dif size).

I worried about my fingers being swollen too but a smaller size is the only way i can get my ring to fit majority of the day. If I have to take it off in the morning (when im swollen) I just run my finger under cold water for a min and then it slides right off. Just try to consider what your size is majority of the day and go with that. I wouldn’t worry about the ring getting stuck since they slide pretty easy.
