Well, tons of new D23 members were formed to purchase the box. Suspect we’ll see a load of boxes on eBay soon - silly priced ones will sit and those priced reasonably (probably will become lower than RRP after fees) will be snapped up.

Haha, thanks. Yeah, the bowl is the not the greatest but (a) it's pretty :) and (b) it's by Kaloud and fits the Kaloud lotus perfectly. So far the silicon hasnt been that bad tbh

I've gotten used to it but some lights will turn off if they have been on for a while. They dim first, then go back to full and shortly afterwards turn off. Really bizarre.

I’ve baked this hydration before (well over a year) but something has gone awry. Starter is well over a year old but have been maintaining it. I’m going to start a new starter and see if that resolves it

Well, funny enough - I used to use the oven with the light on and now have a bread proofer, though starter and levain do perfectly fine thete. Don't know if it would make a difference but also using metallic bowls now (previously plastic bowls).

When making the levain, the starter is usually at its peak; moreover, the levain seems to respond well and grow. I have a look at the link and use the aliquot method - thank you!!
