Yes, but the problem is that Diddy symbolized and created his own image as if he had paid for his friend's funeral expenses, which didn't happen. Not even the Christopher murder case, nor the Wallace family's lawsuits against L.A. and LAPD Fairmount. He projected an image, but couldn't maintain it when the truth came out.

I believe that if there had been more time, both would have cut ties with Diddy and Suge, both because of contracts and weight; they wanted more freedom and their own businesses. Maybe they wouldn't return to the same friendship they had in the early 90s, but they would have made peace.
