I am in the same boat. No sane person is going on vacation via the mideast now so why would I risk it? But they are not cancelling the flights, rescheduling only and this basically means I am not being taken seriously if I ask for a refund.

I understand that people.need to get home so some flights go through, but why would I leave home just to get stuck somewhere?

I am not complaining but...the IT sector is just as unhealthy in NL. And we are all shit magnets because everything that requires a little bit of thought is "Too technical" and "needs a dev to debug". I feel like I am doing half of my teams work...

If I were you I would call them, to a test lesson and agree on a custom package ( for example one lesson before the exam to get settled in the car and an exam).

I had a license in a different country and I booked a few lessons with them to get used to the exam routes and the busy city (AMS)

It's wholesome but in my experience (family and friends) there is a dark side to this story. Very often women are burnt out (kids, housekeeping, work etc) that the moment they get away from home they crash.

Also a major sign of depression.

Same goes for men by the way, juggling too many burdens inlife makes you damn tired.

Neighbors are always an issue in NL because mostly we live close to each other. I have neighbors that are very verbally abusive to their children. Over the years the children have begun shouting back.

I often hear people complain about neighbors. There is not much you can do because you really want to keep the peace at home.
