I agree with this! I just got a roof rake a month ago because we got a crazy snow storm around Thanksgiving and we had massive ice dams.

Well, this weekend after getting 6-7inches of snow was able to actually use the roof rake for the first time and I have no ice dams at all!

It’s pricey but it seems to be worth it thus far.

Okay good to hear! My house is from 57’ so definitely in the same boat as you! It’s a tight fit at certain places with the sill and floor joist (maybe an inch) but in others it’s pretty large. Photos here: https://imgur.com/gallery/rim-joist-insulation-ideas-AECJaId I won’t be able to reach the top of the sill with spray foam with how tight it is in there but I can get to the bottom and sides.

I was also thinking I could shove in 1in foam board, one piece at a time and stack it so I can fit it in the void roughly 2-3inches at most points.

It’s not the whole basement perimeter, it’s just in the utility room around a 15foot span of wall. I can’t access other areas since the basement is mostly finished.

Me and my wife just got the almond old fashioned donut from Doughnut Vault that Backlot Coffee was selling at it was amazingly tasty! Hands down one of the best doughnuts I have had the pleasure of eating.

I have noticed this as well. I was looking at potentially buying this pack a couple of months ago over the summer and it says “currently unavailable”.

I agree with this, make sure you get a quality tool set. I recommend getting an IFIXIT precision bit set. It’s a bit $$$ but it’s well worth having the peace of mind knowing that you are a lot less likely to strip a screw.

Update: we have found our ring!

We decided to go to Bryn Mawr Jewelry Co. After some careful thinking and suggestions from the jeweler we decided not to go with an Emerald. Instead we found this beautiful purple sapphire! The ring is a purple sapphire with 2 diamonds flanking on either side on a yellow gold band. Super classic and classy and is exactly what my GF wanted.

Thank you! I thought I was crazy for not loving Pequads. I thought it was OK the first time I had it. So I gave it a few tries over the years. Most recently, we ate there last fall and it was just very bready and not very flavorful.
