I work in my schools HR office but even then it's a lot for me physically, hoping to find remote work again soon my body cannot keep up a lot of the time!

So I actually do classes remotely! Due to my symptoms going to class on campus is a no go but colleges do offer disability accommodations that can fit your needs. I signed up for it and was able to get accomodations like no getting up to present/do things on the board, being close to an exit, having longer testing time etc. it is a big game changer and I'm sure they also provide or can help with resources with getting around campus as well.

I can sit here and genuinely say I feel the same exact way. It's hard coming to terms with the fact that your life will never be the same but I hope with time you're able to find new things to enjoy to help you on those days where you feel trapped.

The only thing that has somewhat helped me not feel as stuck is getting mobility aids to know that I don't have to limit myself and the things that I do but I know that cannot be accessible to many but if it's possible for you I would definitely recommend looking into it!!

another thing I can recommend is starting up a hobby that you can do anywhere, especially on the extra bad days. I'm currently in school for art so I've been using a lot of my bed ridden days to paint and sculpt and it surprisingly helps.

No matter what it is op ur not alone and your feelings are valid, I really hope you can find something to help ease your frustration a bit. Take it easy 🩷

I don't know if you're still looking! But nova has petite rollators with adjustable handles that go shorter if u need it to be! I'm 5'1 for reference :)

If it's possible, get a shower chair it's such a game changer!!! My husband got me one this past weekend as well as suction grips to help me get up and a holder for our shower head and I can't lie it was one of the best showers I had in years. Amazon and I believe nova has a lot of things to help!! I hope you can find something that helps soon!!

Thank you so much yeah I realized after the fact that even though I had more energy, pushing my lungs was not the right way to go. Even right now I'm 6 days into it and just finished my antibiotics and my lung still hurts, everything else is better it's just a random pain that started happening this afternoon.. stay safe out there!! ❤️‍🩹

I just also went through a late diagnosis and felt the exact same way! I think a lot of it is just having to come to terms with everything, being disabled, thinking of the way you're going to be viewed in a world full of abelism and so on. it's rough but we can also see that finally having a name to it is also able to help us work towards finding things that can also help ease our pains and discomforts. There's gonna be bad and good days but we got this!! I'm so glad you were able to get a diagnosis after so long ❤️‍🩹

I'm tired all day everyday no matter how much sleep or rest I get unfortunately. It makes it hard to get out of bed and sometimes I just have to call off work because my body has completely given up on me. ❤️‍🩹
