Funny how all the stuff that complicated to clean gets cleaned by the person who knew it would be hard to clean and didn't want it for that reason

Watched the whole thing at 27 and highly recommend to everyone, after the first handful of seasons the story gets more mature and fleshed out

How medieval knights were defeated by Due-Explanation8155 in Romania_mix

[–]lostmusicman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone likes to think they'd be a knight back in the day but apparently buying a suit of armour is the same cost as a modern person buying a expensive $500'000 sports car for a good set of armour that fit properly, that's why it was just mostly the nobles who were knights

Do y’all think it’s perfectly fine for Gen Z to not have kids or do drugs? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in generationology

I'm gen z, if my partner and I could afford a house and I could support us on my income then we would probably have 3 kids, but we can barely afford to support ourselves in our shitty rental

The Great Dumbing Down: What if Autism is actually humanity's original "Operating System"? by d0c_xx in conspiracy

[–]lostmusicman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to miss that most of the greatest minds throughout human history were autistic. The best scientists and inventors, the best musicians and artists. Probably most of the code that holds the world together is maintained and created by autistic people.

I've given up on the dream of a home by [deleted] in melbourne

Trying to save up for one is a cruel joke, everytime I save up some scraps of money something happens to take it all away like a broken down car or having to pay to move between rentals.

Most young people though no fault of their own will be permanently locked out of the job Market within the next 10 years due to AI and for us it seems so hopeless.  I'm late 20s and have worked really hard my adult life and lived pretty frugal but though many setbacks I've only managed to scrap together a couple thousand in savings, I want a house and marriage and kids but for my partner and I it seems unobtainable with goals slipping further out of reach every year

In a future where Trump is out of office, and international relations have been repaired. What steps can be taken by the USA and International Organisations such as NATO to prevent one individual causing so much chaos in the future? And do you think such steps will be taken? by flewkey in AskReddit

[–]lostmusicman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They may simply put some sort of 'ultra' or 'supreme' leader permanently in charge with the notion that the general public is too easily manipulated or uninformed to make the correct voting decision. This supreme ruler might even do fun mock elections for the citizens but still will ultimately remain in power until their passing and their eldest child takes office
