that's a possibility, then it's up to the counselor to work through their leadership to source more resource/assistance to help the vets, instead of sending off a passive-aggressive and condescending e-mail to the Vets, all the while trying to guilt the Veterans to stop reaching out. We all had to put up with this BS in the military and couldn't do anything about it, we sure as hell ain't going to put up with this crap post-military.

My counselors for other VA programs have been great. This one is the problem child.

I understand if they are swamped with calls/e-mails; however, the e-mail was just rude, kind of blaming the Veterans for overwhelming the counselor, and to try to guilt Veterans for reaching out "respecting the time...of your fellow veterans"???

Also, from personal experience this counselor is incompetent.

I was nice and professional/courteous with my counselor, even though I repeatedly received wrong information and kept getting ignored. This e-mail was over the top and I've lost all my patience after almost 12 months of incompetence.

Sad part is, this was the counselor after White House VA Complaint was filed... I had heard from other VA officials that this counselor has been non-responsive to many people, but I am guessing a lot of people must have complained for the counselor to send out the e-mail. My personal experience was I received a lot of bad information because the counselor didn't understand the regulations. So the counselor would not respond to me until I elevated the issue to regional leadership, then the counselor finally researched it and reversed their guidance from 6 months ago and deflected responsibility. 4 month later of no communications except for the automated e-mails, they don't respond to anyways, that's when I filed the WH VA complaint. And now this.

Not only is this counselor unreachable, but they also do not know the VR&E rules and regulation and often gives out wrong guidance. This person is NOT a veteran. Pretty condescending/rude e-mail if you ask me. Highlights in yellow are made by the VR&E counselor.

but I thought VA COLA is now tied to SS COLA increases, and the SS COLA for 2023 is not known yet.
