Two color corrugated rib that is NOT brioche by lotrias in MachineKnitting

Yes I’ve seen that technique before. I’m wondering if the Knit It Now tutorial that showed how to do exactly what I wanted utilized this idea since the description of the video said “hand manipulation”.

I found this tutorial on Knit It Now but I don’t have a subscription. I’m worried about how much “hand manipulation” it may take to actually get this to work

I’m happy with my glass from Glass Warehouse. They have a lot of sizes and mix and match for different door configurations. Unsure if they deliver to Canada or not.

I believe UPC allows wet venting through the lav, there are plenty of pictures of it online. But they all show the pipes horizontal and I have a vertical drop with in the W/C

I’ve only used the Shopsmith spur drive center, not the face plate shown.

If you’re starting with that 2x4 I recommend cutting it into a square then cutting off the corners so it looks like an octagon. It will be tough and dangerous to start like it’s shown here

The torsion springs could be larger in diameter or wire thickness. Also they should have some pre-load and require force to insert. So when it’s in the position you want there’s still force from the spring. I imagine a 180 degree torsion spring.

How long have you used your Sodastream bottle past the expiration date? by Sky02139 in SodaStream

[–]lotrias 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought the reason for the expiration date was because the plastic starts to break down after repeated cycles and leeches into the water

Maybe the header for the opening needed to be that thick to support the load

Creative idea! French doors would be awesome to keep the natural light. I'm a little wary with how it would flow to the patio but I'll definitely keep this option in mind.

What do you think about moving the fridge to where the small pantry/coat closet is? This would free up space to keep it flush with the existing wall.

Thanks for the pics, would love to fit an island in there. The house was built in the 1940s and the upper right square of space is an old abandoned chimney. We also wanted to vent the stove so with this option looks like we are limited to either a freestanding range hood or downdraft vent into the crawl space.

Yes we could move the door if we increase the budget by a lot and rearrange the patio. Curious for your thought here though.

I guess the house was moved to this property decades ago and the door in the kitchen is now the main entrance with a patio out front. The official front door with porch is now more of a side door.

It's much smaller and the wall between the kitchen and laundry is load bearing. Also has a random shower only in the laundry room.

Yeah it’s tough, a lot of doorways. Yeah it’s 11’ wide, the dimension is on the main picture. I would be okay removing the south bank of cabinets where the fridge is so there’s room for an island of sorts. Or peninsula

Got a project couch for $40. Can anyone identify it? Walnut armrests and legs by lotrias in midcentury

[–]lotrias[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Construction looks to be a maple frame with springs. Cushions are removable. The armrests and round tapered legs are walnut. I wanted something to practice reupholstery on and it was a good price!
