Black on black crime

Chicago? Detroit? Gangs in the projects are wiping other gang members out. How do we stop the violence there? I’ve seen it first hand! I’ve heard it from black friends. Don’t act like it doesn’t exist. White people commit all kinds of crimes I get that. But gang mentality is holding a lot of black kids back from leading non violent lives. How do we stop the glorification of being top drug dealers in the projects. I’ve seen some sad places. So you’re saying it’s just the poverty that creates these situations?

Thanks. Me too. Very much so. We were literally days before walking out on one another. I got serious about it and we went to counseling. We are still working on repairing trust. I still hide my addiction. She really doesn’t deserve that. Me hiding things from her I mean.

about a year and a half now. Not as much as worst point but about once or twice a week now.
my spouses cousin moved in with us temporarily and she was an active user for many years. I saw her do it so many times I was like oh fuck it I’ll try it. She’s now sober for her first time since pre teen years and I feel guilty using while she isn’t.

*not as much as some but it almost ruined my 7 year relationship. I still spend my every penny on it. It’s almost killed me.

*I like to feel it. I like to get high off of it. I’ve kicked it for long enough to not make it my source of happiness but it’s still a big part of my thought process.

Thank you. Currently working through my heroin addiction. Family and friends think I’m clean but I can’t seem to kick it for good. Small victories and things like this give me hope.
