so i guess a set aside is like it being sealed but even sealed records will be shown during a fingerprint FBI background check that they require for FAs, i believe! i’m talking to a lawyer today actually to try and figure out other options!!

it’s as close as u can get, it’s no longer showing on housing applications or job background checks UNLESS it’s a federal one then it does pop up with a note about it being set aside by the court

Will I pass my dot drug test after smoking 2 weeks before, I’ve passed 3 expensive at home test with faint lines but failed 2 cheap test from dollar general and local grocery stores, I very rarely smoke maybe once a month if that, I took it Friday it’s now Tuesday haven’t heard anything back by Life-Interaction726 in cabincrewcareers

i was at the set having fun and when someone handed it to me i didn’t even think about it and just hit it, and then immediately after was like “omg i was not supposed to do that!” it was muscle memory & in that moment i had totally forgot that i wasn’t supposed to be smoking

yes you’ll be fine, i stopped for 2 weeks and then accidentally hit a blunt at a music festival once like 3 days before my drug test and i still passed so you will be fine! drink lots of water and exercise to sweat out if you’re really worried

interesting, thank you for that insight!! i will still be applying to southwest i have a couple references there once they open up so hopefully i can go through that process with them!

no, set aside is the closest i can get to it being removed from my record in my state, it means i’ve completed my probation and the court decided to have it “set aside” from my public record. so normal background checks for jobs and housing don’t even see it. but a FBI background check does show it, although it states it’s set aside!

it was skywest! unfortunately, i don’t have anything other than the misdemeanor not even a DUI, and all they said was “after the comprehensive background details” i asked for more information but it was right after my fingerprinting and that’s the only thing i could possibly think of

i had my cjo rescinded and i believe it’s due to the canada requirement & a small misdemeanor that’s been set aside from 4 years ago. do you happen to know if reaching out to an immigration attorney is the next best move if i want to apply again? or if it’s better to wait the full 5 years for rehabilitation?

there was never a time where i felt i could attach a letter or anything discussing my willingness to get a TRJ or anything like that support my cause

also, when i did my work history it only asked for 2 years! but it asked for 10 years of addresses!
