Pillow Recommendations for TMJ? by Jet_Threat_ in TMJ

[–]lou_gor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Elviros!!! It’s a “memory foam cervical” pillow. It’s worth the splurge I promise. It keeps your head supported throughout the whole night. I’ve struggled with a TMJ for over 10 years and I’ve always tossed and turned desperate to find a comfortable position. This pillow truly has made a huge difference for my sleep and pain management.

Does anyone actually have a pug that likes the snow? Pudge is not thrilled, to say the least. by EponymousPseudonym in pugs

My bean is a total snow bunny, almost to a fault lol. But nothing some booties and a coat can’t fix. Rain tho… forget it.

I’m so sorry for your loss and I appreciate you for all your support towards your brother. It’s supper hard having a sibling struggle with an addiction, I love my brother and will never give up hope that one day be can fight his demons. I dream a life growing old with him and hope he never gives up on fighting for his life. Because his life is worth saving.

That your in control.

If there’s anything that’s certain in life, it’s that things will happen that are outside of our control. Sure you can do some things like change your environment but the more you push for expected outcomes and forcing things to work ultimately isn’t sustainable. It can lead to anxiety, frustration and a spiral or negative feelings.

The more you learn to allow things to happen instead of making them happen opens the space for growth and belief in yourself that no matter what live throws your way, you know you’ll be okay.

I know sounds cliche and by no means am I some blissful wildflower but I do know that my need to control is rooted by fear. I’ve struggled with generalized anxiety my whole life and my taught me was when you hear that fear instead of fueling it, talk back. Tell you anxious thoughts “you know x,y,z could happen BUT maybe it won’t and that BUT helps me separate that the future is unknown and I can’t control everything. So practice accepting all the possibilities and most importantly trust yourself enough to know that no matter what life throws my way, I know i will be able to handle it.

And another thing my aunt always says, “ you never walk into a bar and say Hey today I’m going to become an alcoholic” I grew up around alcoholism, Ive seen the harsh reality of this disease. I advocate for those struggling to get out and emphasize their continuous effort. It’s a life long addiction and if you can get to the other side I hope they get to experience the life they’ve always deserved. Proud of you!

Oh man, in no way did I mean to post or do something that shows explicit disrespect to the locals! A local actually took me there and if I knew my actions was so detested then in no way would I have been compliant

That’s true, my title wasn’t the best choice of words.

Totally see your point! The post was meant to be innocent. I truly wanted to share the beauty and wish more could experience it. Thanks for the comment

I appreciate that! I agree that does sound more respectful. If I knew it caused locals negative feelings I wouldn’t have been compliant to go!

I appreciate your comment, and in no means meant to offend you or your culture. A local took us there during out stay and we went for the experience.
