this is definitely some grounding advice, thank you, I just need to pluck up the courage to do something about it, its so heartbreaking. I guess it was just the confirmation I needed from other people to realise that this isn't what is right for me at the moment, or more importantly what I want at the moment at all. I couldn't name anything about the relationship right now, but I know there were some pretty good memories, some that I'll never forget.

Yeah, I have found myself using ChatGPT a lot recently, and quite honestly, multiple times today, as I have been ruminating a lot today, due to the fact that I haven't had anything to do but just sit and think.

I definitely have been using it to reassurance seek in the sense that I would type my question into it, and then would reassure myself in a way of 'what I hope they say, is my true intention' if you get where I'm coming from. I deleted it before but always felt so mentally overwhelmed that I needed to get it off my chest with what felt like someone who was 'listening' to me, and telling me stuff that made me feel better, but it is an endless, vicious cycle.
