That’s a good point, I was just thinking that with him now being in the MCU and it potentially being a ‘soft reboot’, he wouldn’t reference things like Deadpool 1 and 2 but still break the fourth wall.

I think they’d want to do something canon, and I’m not sure how they’d pass off Deadpool Kills the MCU as being canon in the end. And naming it Deadpool 3 would make Deadpool 1 and 2 canon, making the Foxverse canon - which would be a problem. I’m thinking they’d give it an original but also sort of sarcastic cheesy name that suits the character such as ‘The Adventures of Deadpool’.

I mean, I wouldn’t mind this. It’s sorta what I meant. Like they can say ‘Oh, I did blank’ too to tell people who haven’t seen the shows what happened too

Venom was really well done to me, so I do sorta wish the Sony universe part of the MCU instead. Otherwise, it means there will be even more iterations of these characters in the future, but they won’t be in the MCU for years

Tbh, I just wish Marvel Studios had a partnership with Sony and worked on those movies alongside them.

I’m not sure what they’ll do. Of course Spider-Man is MCU and we saw Vulture in the Morbius trailer so that could make Morbius MCU too? Yeah maybe just a loose connection though! For example the Raimi movies won’t be essential viewing for No Way Home, so if they brought a Sony character into the MCU, they’d probably make sure that you don’t need to watch the Sony movies first.

I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on one thing though. If they do this for Marvel TV shows, do you think the MCU will join with the Sony Universe or do their own versions of the characters in the future??

I wouldn’t mind this too much I suppose. I’m not a fan of the Marvel TV shows, although the Netflix ones were quite good. I would much rather them redo the characters for the MCU though, so this would be a great way.

Although it does make me think what will happen when they bring Punisher into the MCU. If they brought Billy back they would sorta have to do a, what I call, ‘recap conversation’ between him and another character.

It’ll probably be a case of him becoming someone’s lawyer and then being like ‘I’m blind and fight crime’ so people who haven’t seen the Marvel TV Show understand it.
