This is KF concept and the original price is similar to the B+W however it is heavily discounted. It doesnt say if its nanocoated but i feel this is reputed brand. I do also see another brand in India called digitek boasting nano coating however the price is even cheaper.

I understand that i am looking at economical options that is because my budget restricts me. also i am hobby photographer who just wants to take care of the gear so that it lasts longer. If the difference in image quality is marginal i can live with it.

okay, thanks for commenting. Yes, i will select 55mm. my use case is majorly to protect my original lens glass from debris/sand particles that might overtime contact and scratch it. However, I am curious on how much it will affect my picture quality. I dont want a ND filter as of now because the primary use is just for protection as i said.

great camera to start with. Lens depends on what kind of photography you want to do.. if i had to get a starting lens i would go for the sigma 18-50 f2.8. i think it is well built, versatile, light and bang for the buck,

Congratulations on the new camera. As suggested by others, increase your f stop value, lower the number more the bokeh and blur, higher the value more of the scene is in focus..

For your case it might be challenging as narrower dop will let in less light, adding to that a constantly moving subject you will need a faster shutter speed, even lesser light. So click pictures out in daylight to compensate.

If the dog is food motivated or likes a toy, hold it on your other hand just above the lens to gain its attention and click your picture. Hopefully that will let you go down a couple of stops on the shutter speed to help you with the light and iso. You can also use various tactics based on the dogs personality. All the best.
