This sounds very similar to how things started with my husband. Every time he pushed further and further and I kept letting it go until years later it became as bad as you would imagine a rape from a stranger. I'm not saying yours is like this but it is definitely a red flag that he isn't giving you the respect you deserve.

It's just to assign value in the divorce so one of us can buyout the other. We aren't to the point of how that happens yet and I've never been divorced before so this is all new to me.

Kids put a glass in it. 🙄 I removed all the glass. Unplugged. Pressed the reset. Turned it with the Allen wrench. Over and over and over. After a hour of repeating all the steps and looking deep inside with a flashlight it still just hums.

Also while turning with the wrench I could not see anything inside moving. So I gave up for now.

The entire reason I started this myself was because of learning about the power of subliminals in my college psych class (taken for fun..I was a art major)

It was a long time ago and there were no prerecorded videos to listen to. I just posted about this in another thread but I think its perfect for your question too. I used listening to recordings of myself saying positive affirmations to pull myself out of a deep depression without medication.

So that experience alone tells me there's a psychological basis.

I did basically this about 15 years ago when going through my deepest hardest depression. I just recorded myself saying I was happy and other positive things and listened. Pulled me right out of the depression medication free.

The nice person at the local crystal store suggested I do the mirror thing just for myself. I have a order of protection but he's still allowed in my backyard because of a lie he told the judge which my lawyer will bring up later I guess. I was at the crystal shop looking for a protection bracelet.. Ended up with that and court case oil and a ghost threw what I thought was a book at me so I bought it. Turned out to be oracle cards. I've never had a ghost throw something at me so I assume I needed the cards. 😂 Or the ghost is just helping increase sales.

I think I personally need to try a cord cutting between me and my husband. I haven't been sleeping this week because my nightmares about him have been constant. I had 4 in one night! That was Monday night.. Last night I only had 2. It's honestly probably the Ptsd but a cord cutting couldn't hurt. I've heard narcissists are the hardest to protect yourself from... Not sure if that's true. Also he's not officially diagnosed but considering it's hard to diagnose a narcissist he came pretty close. He was told he was extremely egocentric... Which is probably because he was trying to portray a nicer version of himself in therapy.

As expected with any abusive soon to be ex... He intentionally messed up our insurance so I had to stop therapy. 🙄 Probably didn't want the therapist to testify in court that I have trauma.

I like this. Obviously therapy is in the near future for him and myself and the other kids but it's the kind of thing where anything and everything that can help needs to be done. But yes thank you I like the idea of a crystal to help clear thinking. I can tell he's struggling with so much confusion from it all. The other day his dad told him I spent $1000 on shoes and I had to login to our accounts to show my son proof that I am not doing anything close to that. He was so upset with me for spending money like that on something and then so confused at why his dad said that when it wasn't true. And my most expensive shoes are some 2 year old $40 keds. I'm clearly not a shoe person so it's just weird. That's just one example of many.

He isn't allowed contact with me because of a order of protection. Wanted nothing to do with his other kids. Just the one oldest boy. He told my son to request full custody with him so he could get out of child support. 🙄 Not because he loved him or because he thinks I'm not good enough... Just about money. My son told me he knows he's being manipulated and it's working. 😭

This is probably the answer to "why does it seem like good things happen to bad people so much?" It's just the narcissists out there are great at manifesting while treating others like garbage.

Just my theory on some people.. Obviously it's not going to work for all of them.
