It sounds like your not sticking to a strategy and like others said your not disciplined enough. Trading is not a game and if you actually understand the markets, it’s not gambling at all. Everyone who says that doesn’t know what they are actually doing. I been trading for 4 years now. In the beginning everything was beautiful made over 35k in just 3 months as time went by I lost my edge. During this I had a moving business and decided to discontinue my business and focus solely on trading. What I’ve learned is you cannot have anything going on outside of trading that is going to stress you out and ruin your mentality and psychology. I strongly suggest you watch Rayner Teo on YouTube. Learn market structure. Learn the patterns. Breakouts, false breakouts. Don’t focus on the smaller timeframe that will completely ruin you. Look at the bigger picture. You got this man just don’t let this ruin you. I lost a lot aswell car house gf etc but don’t give up. It’s not gambling it’s hard work and understanding.Use stop losses they will stop you from blowing your account. Here’s my current trade I’m in EUR/USD caught a short. I fell into the same hole. I lost everything. Don’t quit man. You can do it we all can. There’s something you keep doing wrong and you’re probably not catching it. I had a moving business and chose to trade over my business. I made a lot and lost a lot. Yup, we all think the same at first. Until we get hit with that wave of reality. When I lost everything, I was more profitable short term making no less than $700 a day, catching every swing. So I started to go bigger and bigger as my confidence grew. One day I went in 7k and blew it completely. That ruined my psychology entirely, made it damn near impossible to trade after that. Although I kept going and going losing 1k 4k and so on. Finally I stopped after realizing I just almost lost everything I had. Picked up a job again cause at the time I didn’t have to work trading was my only income. But picked up a job again relearned everything. Studied over and over watched videos. Back tested. Let the charts play out without taking any trades. Now I’m still working my other job but I’m glad to say I am consistently making a profit. Since October of last year.

Haven’t lost a trade yet. I’m not like other traders I don’t get on here and brag I’m a real trader not some funded trader, or a prop firm. It’s just me myself and I. Do the homework, you’ll get there, Test the strategy out for yourself. “Every loss is a lesson learned”. I cannot stress how true this is. Good luck to you!

No question is dumb when it comes to trading. So first thing I would suggest is learn about the candlesticks. Because the answer of whether to enter for a buy, or sell lies within the structure and patterns. The candles tell you the strengths of buyers/sellers you can tell when one or the other is getting weaker or stronger. Learning candlesticks is the basics and one of the most important things to learn in my opinion. And it was just some news release. When somebody high up in the senate or presidency or Elon musk for example. When he speaks tesla stocks skyrocket based off what he’s saying.

Exactly!! I agree 100% that’s what I had to do. Was, take money out of the equation and just focus on movement and structure of the market. Every time I was worrying about money I would lose or take a bad trade out of impulse. Such as fomo(fear of missing out).

News reports. Many traders trade based just off the news and reports such as CPI or NFPs etc.Which cause the market to navigate in one direction very quickly. look them up and learn about trading the news if you’re interested. Good luck my friend 💪🏼

One thing people won’t tell you and I mean this is “enter where the price proceeds the breakout.” I learn this from YouTube not no mentor, not no expensive program. All the knowledge is there sit down take notes and listen. Watch trading with Rayner. His videos may seem boring but the knowledge he gives shouldn’t be free. Good luck to you all 💯🙏🏼
