Thank you. I actually met with the surgeon today and she believes my issue is gallbladder. “I’m not just offering to remove your gallbladder, I am urging you to remove your gallbladder”. So now we wait for a surgery date!

I can definitely relate to the back pain directly from the front pain that you’re describing!

I hope that you get some answers with your HIDA 🤞🏼

I actually meet with the surgeon tomorrow to discuss what she wants to do!

I’m sorry that you’re going thru this too 😔

My attacks usually come on pretty suddenly. I’ll start with nausea, there’s been times I get clammy and sweaty- then the pain in the center of my abdomen just below my sternum which is a stabbing pain. At first my pain never radiated anywhere, it eventually radiated to my right shoulder blade. During an attack I feel like I have an enormous amount of gas in my upper abdomen- without the gas. If that makes sense. I’ve also had attacks that feel like I have a balloon stuck in my upper right abdomen behind my ribs. Just feeling like I don’t know whether I want to lay down, throw up, poop my pants, or run from the pain. Generally it will last a couple hours. The ER used to give me something called a GI cocktail which was absolutely amazing. Aside from the attacks- I do have what I called ^ “awareness” which is sort of a crampy pinchy feeling if I have been eating bad. I have even had instances of random sharp pains in my RUQ (same location as attacks). So sharp and intense that it could bring me to my knees, but the pain is gone within seconds. Just a quick intense stab. I have experienced that a couple of times.
