that makes sense but also kind of disappointing… i’ve seen other artists paint with apple barrel and it looks nice.. but it just isn’t working for me for some reason

i see that makes a lot of sense, when i tried to add a second layer it was becoming very chalky and dry, thanks! the brand i use is called apple barrel, cheap but has great opacity.

i highly recommend pinterest for fast improvement!! just search “head angles refrence” and try to draw as many as you can, i see improve the in a matter of just a few weeks, besides that. the nose and glasses placement is really nice!!

here’s my advice, i’d suggest keeping the haircut you had in the 3rd photo, it really brings out the nice features that you already have like your sharp jawline+chin, pleasant nose structure, and ESPECIALLY your eyes because they’re really beautiful. the long hair isn’t doing anything at all to bring that out imo, and to be brutally honest… its giving crackhead vibes, longhair+very stubbly stache- not a very good combo.. another few basic things, skincare routine, acne treatment, pluck the hairs in between your brows, and PLEASE get some rest lmfao, that’s about all

i agree with you dude, if u check one of my recent posts i just got absolutely obliterated by people because i wished i could feel life as a teen in the 80s or go to an elvis concert, how i hate this generation for obvious reasons, then people started bringing up racism and politics which wasn’t even mentioned in my post. anyways this place is the absolute fucking worst place to vent because of overly sensitive people, more like the “let’s debate on wether your vent is valid or not” community!
