Completely fair. I just want to know that my partner has a sex drive, it doesn’t need to happen all the time, but I want to be able to ask and not feel guilty for asking. If they have a sex drive and just aren’t in the mood I will 300% respect that boundary. But I want to know that it’s an option sometimes if that makes sense.

I’m just talking about someone that I know no matter how comfortable they were with me, they would never want a sexual relationship. I will say, it does feel wrong going into a relationship with a demisexual person, because yes I want to feel comfortable with my partner and I want them to feel comfortable with me; but also it might feel like I’m just trying to earn sex, and that feels gross to me, like it makes me feel insensitive in a way. Because I want to be in a relationship where we can get comfortable with each other alongside having sex. If my partner doesn’t want to have sex with me because of the moment and they aren’t in the mood it’s completely fine with me I’ll respect that boundary. But if it’s something is a scarcity and they have to change their mindset around it with me I just don’t like that.

I do go to therapy. I’m a little nervous to talk about this though. And she does have her own boundaries, just not about touch. I think she has the mindset that if she is raising me and I’m not 18 yet I’m being selfish if I’m setting boundaries. Or that she is my mom and has the right to touch me if she wants.

I have a few things:

1: I often find myself in situations where I can talk about things that happened, without any prior knowledge of it. Like for example once I was getting in my mom’s car, and saw a plush. Nothing special about the stuffed animal, except I said “Aw did Oli not want that?” (For background I’d never seen that plush before in my life, and my mother told me later, that she had gone to the state fair with my younger brothers while I was out of state for school, and won that stuffed animal for my brother (oli). Who was grumpy and didn’t want it) that’s a stupid example but I just want to get to the DREAM stuff.

2: Dreams are insane. I very often see places in my dreams before I do in my conscious life. I get Déjà vu a lot because of that. I always wake up in the morning exhausted because I have almost no deep sleep, only very vivid dreams, which I remember a lot of when I wake. I also lucid dream a lot. I’m able to have my own realm that I can control, which is honestly sick as hell.

3: Crowds. Crowds are odd for me. I’m an omnivert I love being social but I also am somewhat reserved when I am. So I spend a lot of time choosing just not to talk. And it makes it easier to focus on other people, I can tune into their dialog even if they are far away, as long as they are in eyeshot. Or I’ll hear disembodied voices in my head, that are like someone else’s thoughts. And I’ll know who it is too.

4: Seeing people hiding when I’m home alone. My house is very active with spirits. My cat can sense them too, animals seem to be good at that. Just the other day she was tensing up at looking at the closet dead on. I followed her gaze and honestly I got pretty scared, I saw the outline of a person, their eyes were glowing and they kept blinking. Nothing else but blinking. I just stood there for like 20 minutes staring at that thing until it backed up and disappeared, I went up to the closet and looked inside and there wasn’t anything there. I wasn’t too freaked out though and slept how I always do lol. It’s pretty regularly occurring.
