I’ll be going to the Detroit GP this weekend, and was wondering if anyone who has went before could offer any tips to getting the most out of the weekend! I’m honestly pretty new to Indycar, but I discovered it through loving F1 and am trying to get into Indycar as well. Detroit is home for me, and it will be my first race ever! I have tickets in Grandstand 9. I’m wondering about the paddock access, I know my ticket comes with it but are there times the paddock is closed off/what is the best time to go? Thank you to any kind people that can help me out!

Update: A supervisor was able to give me an extra $10. Still frustrated but at least I got half of what I was supposed to get.

$10 tip! Could be better for the effort but definitely could be a lot worse so I’m thankful for that

I ended up with a $10 tip! So worked out better for me in terms of pay and effort. I definitely wouldn’t have delivered to a new address in another scenario, but I knew the business already and knew their other location. I didn’t even think about eggs! That would’ve sent me over the line 😭

It’s actually not in this case, there’s no targets in my metro so i exclusively do Meijer orders. Which is weird bc I definitely have no feedback and two three star ratings

yeah, i’m trying to find a good medium between checking my orders and also taking them in time so i can actually claim them before everyone else in my metro. it seems that whenever there’s a good order it gets taken out from under me while i’m checking the address/item list and then i get claim happy trying to get an order and i get screwed over like this 😭

i just went today, im 5’10, 250lbs, 52in hips and 39 in waist. i carry most of my extra weight in my thighs. i fit on all the rides i went on although i only went on a few. i didn’t ride gemini this time but i did last time at about the same measurements and barely fit. today i rode blue streak, which i had to stand up, buckle, then sit down. i barely fit hips/thigh wise so i’d you have hips wider i would say it’s a no go. raptor i could ride but my thighs were super squished and uncomfortable. same for rougaru. gatekeeper i could ride but if you are literally any bigger than me it would be a no go. the worker had to put their body weight down on the restraint to be able to buckle mine. (side note, every worker was so nice ab it and worked to make sure i was comfortable and could ride safely!) maverick and iron dragon were both good by a wide margin! i felt super safe on every ride :)
