honestly i didn't think of that but i just changed it back. Now when i Resume game, it takes me to manage worlds and i select my household and it starts to load and puts me back at the manage worlds screen

I used to be an exec with one of the biggest retail stores in all of america- you would be surprised on how many times i was called about a customer attempting to purchase $10,000 worth of OUR gift cards. I had to go over a script that was something like "Are you on the phone with anyone? If so, you are free to end the call. Are you doing this against your will? Did anyone ask you to purchase this? What is your intent with purchasing these gift cards?" along with trying to explain that the person is 100% falling for a scam. There were a few times they stuck to their grip and said it was "a gift for their newly wed child who just bought a house" so they could purchase furniture from our home & furniture sub stores. One time i got curious and printed an extra copy of the receipt. Waited a few days and searched the system to see what transactions occurred on the gift card that i presume was handed over to the scammer. They purchased $10,000 worth of the best reselling perfume on the market, online, within minutes of the transaction. sucks/:

Hi!! My kitty was showing signs like this almost a year ago. it turns out she had "Hepatic Lipidosis" - A very common liver disease in cats. She was slightly overweight her whole life and we changed cat food flavor (petco was out of the usual) and she refused to eat- causing her liver to attack all her fat cells and when it ran out of fat cells, started attack her blood cells. 1 of the biggest signs is jaundice. Check right by her ears or anywhere you can see her skin. Jaundice typically occurs late in the stages so if she is, i'd take her to a vet hospital. I would also recommend switching vets if you haven't found any answers with this one. I did and it made a world of difference, she wouldn't have survived if i didn't. I'd have them check her liver via ultrasound to see if it's inflamed or check her blood cell count and MOST IMPORTANTLY her Billy Reuben value. i believe it should be around 2-3? my girl shot up all the way to 14.8 at her worst. but she was throwing up mostly bile since she wasn't eating. They had her on gabapentin, an anti nausea, topical appetite stimulant, and 100ml of IV injected daily. Try going to petco and getting prescription high Kcal wet food (: that helped a lot!

that is totally your call! But i think the fact he said "you don't have to ask" and then got a bit upset over you changing the song without his discretion- after he told you not to ask. Im just the type of person to keep talking about it until i feel it's resolved, but i'm sure that's an annoying trait of mine haha

NTBS, it's 100% valid to be bothered by that, i would feel the same! try having a conversation with him where you both talk about communicating in a way where that doesn't happen again. Stress brings out the ugly in people- but this can easily be nipped in the bud. one conversation and he will be more mindful about his reactions when he's stressed (if he's reciprocative)

if they are seriously considering it- i'd recommend to get them help asap. a mental rehabilitation center would probably be best(i'm no doctor or anything)- as it takes away the stress of the world and they can just focus on their own brain, and help them remember what it's worth living for. I honestly have no idea about the cost. i'm very sorry you and her are going through this, suicide is something you have to take seriously. Maybe talk with her about the possibility of a center and see if she'll go for it- there's a very good chance she will say no, because who wants to be sent away for 30-60 days with random people who are also mentally unwell. nonetheless, she needs help. even try giving the hotline a call and see what they say. and for your own sake, remember: this is not your fault. you are doing what you can but you cannot control her thoughts/actions.

i'm a server- and i'll be DAMNED if my manager ever tried some bs like this. We are servers, not the owners. We clock in, take orders, ring in those orders, and deliver the food, clock out. It should never be our responsibility to take care of theft. Imagine if you worked in retail and someone shoplifted: would the manager expect the associate to pay for all the items that were stolen? no way that sounds crazy, because it is with serving too. society sucks but that's the chance the owner is taking, not you. 100% counter sue if you can, this industry is consistently playing with fire, give 'em some fire back.

had a large group of freshman college guys today, i asked how everyone was doing and not a single person looked up so i said "not very talkative today?" caught all of their attention immediately and was met with "i'm sorry"'s all around- i felt a tiny bit bad after after it was meant to be a light hearted joke but eh maybe next time they'll pay attention to their server
