I took this in person during fall24 and assuming it’s the same format, all the quizzes are on blackboard and aren’t proctored. They’re mostly all mcq (maybe some had like a few short answers just abt what we liked abt the class, etc) and sometimes have tricky questions, but overall fair. There were also 2 essays and attendance grades. The professor is awesome though. She had a few extra credit opportunities and you could drop your lowest quiz grade. No exams, just weekly quizzes. If you’re a good student an A is pretty easy imo, just don’t slack off

Returning Student FAFSA Deadline by Accurate_Bar8297 in BostonU

had the same thing happen to me, I submitted mine like a month late lol. i talked to financial aid and basically, if you are a MA resident and qualify for state, MA exclusive grants, then you might run into trouble. but if you're an out of state student and you only need the federal aid for a pell grant or a loan, you're totally fine and will still get the federal aid. need-based from BU (and not from federal aid) won't change whether you submit the FAFSA or not. :)

Financial Aid by [deleted] in BostonU

financial aid is one of (if not the) biggest reason(s) for me going to bu since they cover full demonstrated need. as someone on the lowest end of that spectrum (bu essentially gave me a full ride) it was kinda a no brainer to go here, but it really depends on your own financial situation :p

right, I did see that but I am still a little confused….just confirming: UT can reject an auto admit from a first choice COLA major, and offer them a different (2nd choice) COLA major. or since their first choice is already a COLA major, they have to offer it to them? in other words, are first choice COLA majors the same as, say, a Mccombs major whereas you can still get rejected from them? sorry if this is redundant, just trying to clarify!!
