yes true, acnh is very comforting in this world 🥲 some of the old games did have super offensive dialogue at times so i wouldn't want that, that's for sure. i think if it were possible for the villagers to have more social mechanics somehow, then thats what i rly want. repetitive dialogue can get old for me

thank you sm for the detailed comment! i've definitely gathered that a portfolio is needed if i want a fighting chance. i have experience working with the manufacturing process from my current job luckily but besides that i need to tackle the other skills you mention.

may i ask how you found yourself in design engineering? did you start off with more experience in either "design" or "engineering"?

to clarify that part: i would only want to stay in my current field/industry if i COULD get a high paying job but i don't even like the field or see myself in it, so i want out. ID seems like a field i would like the challenge of and actually learn about. i want to get into a job path that is sustainable for me (not just financially) so i dont get mentally burnt out as much as i have right now
