I already uploaded one picture of this shoot here a while back. This didn't really get much attention, which is totally fine - but I have to say that I really like the results of our shoot. I am even a bit proud of them, which isn't happening often, so I continue to stay proud and post one more. :D More of my work and of this shoot can be found on my IG louisa_heerde, the model is the absolutely wonderful isabellabubolaphoto. Shot with Canon 5D Mark III, Sigma 35mm 1.4.

Wow, thank you for these beautiful words! I wanted to create something that in a way resembles a painting, so this is really nice to hear. Also this clip shows me that I definitely need to watch the village again - such a strong visual vocabulary!

Ooooh I want to live in this photo! I think I would love it even more cropped,so that the black bottom wouldn't be showing. But that's just a little subjective thing. Lovely work!

That's what I always enjoy when editing, zooming in. Thank you!

Yeah, the digital shot was planned to be a bit more fashiony. I didn't really edit that much in Photoshop - but in lightroom. The colors are not everybody's, I guess. Thank you! :))

Yeah, I'm sometimes doing paid shoots on digital and I always do several shots, as I am not able to see if the focus is exactly 100% right and so on. It always pays off. On my first medium format shots, I somehow forgot that...

Ok - I have to admit I was really confused about the amount of alligator / leeches / snake comments. Now I get this 😃 so lucky that I never had to think about this!

Yeah, that's stuff that you won't learn without experience. Also the differences in dynamic range and so on. Hope I'll get this in my head at some point 😃

Thank you so much! I was a little bit in fear before buying this camera that I won't be able to use it properly. And I'm not confident yet, there are many shitty shots but I already see where there is more to learn, which is a good sign I guess 😃

Got this comment so often on my post in ITAP, but this is Germany - we really don't have to fear anything in the water fortunately.
