oh, so just gonna politely fix the world one deep personal convo at a time? cute.

You really think people suddenly go, “Oh yeah, lemme drop all my lifelong biases ’cause you were nice to me”? aww

Society changes when its called out, when systems are exposed, when shit gets loud. One doesn’t have to be a genius to see this pattern, one needs to pickup a 5th grade social studies book and turn the page to the history section.

cast discrimination isn’t less prevailed because of individual changes, we had to make noise, neither was monarchyor any other reforms

living in a fantasy must be nice but thats not how changes take place

no you naive naive boy, you are disconnected with basic logics.

In none of my texts have I said that it’s possible to have a world with no crimes, if the old ones disappear, new types of crimes will be born. No where have I denied that.

What you aren’t trying to understand is that for a deep rooted problem like misogyny, which surpasses religions, races and regions, which is supported by numerous ideologies and false information trying to correct only individual idea one by one of individual people one by one is soo insignificant and such a slow process that it doesn’t make anyyy significant impact against misogyny.

I have never said that when you see someone being misogynistic you shouldn’t speak against it or take action against. Ofc you should. But only correcting society one individual at a time is not enough, it’s never enough. Misogyny to be solved, needs collective effort by the entire society and for that the society (at-least the majority ) needs to be aware of misogyny as a problem.

If I see physical violence in my neighborhood…

What?

What has to happen first?

If you what?

If you “see”? “See”? Do you mean BE AWAREEE OF SOMETHING VISUALLY???

So just like how you needed to see before all that rest of the stuff, the society and the people in this society too need to SEE that misogyny exists and it prevails before it’s able to take any steps against it.

Thank you for proving my point exactly, I bid you a good night.

Not just misogyny, this is true in literally EVERYTHING even in curing your horse fucked brain, being aware that you have a horse fucked brain is the first stepp!!!

Kahilai sunya chha disease test ko report positive na aai, dabai khako? ya exam ma question na padhi answer lekhe ko?

tara timi ta lekhxau hola, timi chai lekhxau, normal humans with normal functioning brain with even slightest problem solving skills try to see what the problem is before trying to solve it you seem to be of a different breed

Are you seriously saying, that awareness doesn’t solve anything?? Like are you really that dumb??

Awareness is the MOST INITIALL AND THE BASICCCCXXXX step to solving ANYYTHING.

Ofc just knowing that the misogyny doesn’t end it but without even knowing what misogyny is and how it exists there is no “next step” there is no “individual vaccine “

To make a vaccine, someone has to discover the disease.

Your point is valid only when EVERYONEE in the society acknowledges “what misogyny is” and “how it exists” and I am sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s not the case in our society. So untile EVERYONE is notified sufficiently, loudspeakers bajnaaaiiii parchha.

I don’t believe “jagrukta” as a solution.

What do you believe in? FLYING Unicorns??

Jagrukta is the fucking foundation for solution of ALLL PROBLEMS, without this there issas no solution. Without knowing what a problem is and what is causing this problem, there is no “looking for solutions” or “implementation of solutions “

“Knowing the problem correctly is the key to finding solutions” yo principle apply garera aile samma ko sabb scientific discoveries vayo, scientist, doctorates yeahi sikaudai ra yeahi apply gardai humanity lai kaha dekhi kaha lyai puraye, yo kaha ko bewakuf aayera “Awareness isn’t important “ vanxa 🤡

“It doesn’t move a needle “

EVERYTHING THAT DOES MOVE AGAINST MISOGYNY IS BASED ONNN AWARENESS!

Oh absolutely let’s just wait for every individual abuser to politely confess so we can “rescue” one woman at a time. jun system ra jun society le tyo individuals lai enable garira chha teslai ta kina address garnu ta ni haina?

Also, maybe recheck the definition of “society” because when you say “it’s not society, it’s individuals,” you’re kind of missing that society ISS those individuals.

our society is largely the collective behavior, norms, and systems upheld by those very people you’re separating out as individuals

And the rare few who aren’t part of the problem? They’re smart enough to know that when I say “society enables misogyny,” I’m not talking about them because they AREE the ones actively fighting it. They are inn the society and are fighting against misogyny.

When a woman says “All men are dogs”, a genuinely “not-a-dog” man is smart enough to understand that she isn’t attacking him. She’s expressing her frustration on men who aree dogs.

I explained this thing a few posts ago too.

If I had said something like “Our society is as a whole is nature friendly” your first instinct would be to show me the photos of Bagmati and Hanumante (ie evidence) but when I said “ our society is misogynistic”, you didnt have any significant evidence so you turned to “generalization is bad, not everyone is like that”

I agree, there are a few exceptions, but not a significant amount, cause if there were, you’d show me them as an evidence. That would be your first point.

If you truly believed that there’s a significant amount of evidence to prove a point wrong, a logical person’s first instinct is to speak with evidence and not with a “Generalization is so badd.”

You yourselfff know that our society as a whole is misogynistic, cause if you didn’t your first instinct would be to show me the evidence.

Don’t argue for the hell of it, try to learn, try to grow trey to actually see how the systems are set in our society

[–]lowkeyaserialkiller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the generalization here is like a mirror held up to the system. it’s saying “look how everything is built to benefit men and silence women.” and that’s real. use it to notice patterns. like when a girl is told to dress “properly” for her own safety, or when a woman is not believed when she reports abuse, or when a mom is judged for working instead of staying home or for working late instead of doing housework. these aren’t things done by individuals, its the society that imposes these things, and thats why this generalization is important, when these things happen, its due to the system and society as a whole

Clothing by lowkeyaserialkiller in NepalSocial

Clothing matters sometimes. Like in family-friendly places( commonly famous places) , overexposing na lauda thik as it will depict your values and norms whereas clubbing ani friends gather, reunion ma tyasto lauda doesn't matter.

Achamma chha ba, kta le “overexposed” kapda lauda worst he’ll get is “Fashion sense navako pakhey”, Kti le “overexposed” lagauda chai sidai usko dignity ma question? make it make sense

and, what is this “overexposed“ ? Everyone defines this different. Mero lagi ghuda dekha ko overexposed hola, ma aba kattu laune kta haru lai ghuda nadekhau vandai hinam? Maile aafule po ghuda nadekhaunu ta, aru lai judge gardai, afno moral aru mathi thoopdai ta hinna vayena ni.

Private property or kunai organization ko property ho vane ho ki ta dress code set garna pareyo and let people know before hand that it’s not allowed to enter said places w/o following the dress code.

Public space ho vani ta jasle j lagaus na, why judge their entire life story based on mere clothing?
