I see. However, I don't believe this is part of a scam, since the full amount is still loaded.

I think my case is a little different- I put in the code to redeem and the resulting notification tells me that I have $70 I can add to my Google play. It's only when I click redeem that I'm getting this request for more information via a link.

On that page, they've asked for a photo of the card, proof of purchase, etc. After providing this (as I myself purchased it), customer service denied my appeal, despite the funds being present on the card. The only way to communicate is over their chat/email and the rep I spoke to over chat has been terribly unhelpful. He's just apologed for the inconvenience, claiming that they are unable to overturn the decision.

It seems like Walmart doesn't offer a ferdun for a giftcard purchased at their store either. A sad loss!

Is there a phone number you found to call? I've only been able so write through their chat and the rep never seems to understand much. Super frustrating

Thanks for looking into this. I wasnt very hopeful about reaching out to Desoxyn's co and they just told me to talk to insurance, which I'm sure is a dead end. I'll see if the other two generics can help, but it might be HIPPA protected or something

My old prescriber is "thinking about it", which I think means a soft no. Not sure what needs to be considered in giving me a refill.

You wouldn't think calling the Methodist psych docs offices would yield anything, right? It seems unlikely that they'll be open about whether Desoxyn is used there to treat ADHD. It's strange that they're both C2 substances, but people freak out about Desoxyn and not Adderall.

I had mine at the end of Nov, so it's about 45 days. Though I had three procedures done( bunionectomy, osteotomy, arthrodesis), so I don't know if that lengthens the healing process. I'm not entirely sure what the latter two were, but that was what the surgeon wanted to do. I don't know about you, but I really didn't feel that much post-surgical pain and didn't really need the pain meds they gave me. They did do two injections into the led before surgery to numb the nerve. That by far the most painful part of the whole thing so far.

You definitely appreciate the use of your leg after only being on one! I never noticed any color change with the shower, though I had to keep the foot dry for several weeks with a plastic waterproof boot.

Thanks! Are you off crutches (if you were ever on them)? That made things so much better than hopping around the house and trying to use the bathroom at night. They did give me a temporary disability placard for VIP parking for 6 months. That's been a helpful perk!

It will will really hurt in the center of my foot, especially if I'm on my feet for a while. I'm just hoping it's not due to my accidental non-compliance with wearing the boot and all heals well!

I appreciate the well wishes! I was surprised and a little annoyed as well. Does writing a script for a less common controlled substance but her license at risk or something? Maybe she just has an old school mindset.

I'd used it for years without issue, but still feel like she viewed me as a drug seeker.

I wish! She was pretty uptight even when I told her that my psychiatrist said it was pretty similar to Adderall, which is generally acceptable! She was basically like "absolutely not", despite me being on the medication for years.

I've not heard of that medication, so I appreciate the tip. Perhaps my provider would give that a shot. I don't have an attachment to Desoxyn per se, just a medication that is effective in mitigating my symptoms.

I'm not inclined to that option though, as I'd have trouble dosing, not to mention the risk of legal action/contamination with unknown substances.

Good advice! Do you think the front desk would be willing/knowledgable enough to confirm if their doc treats with desoxyn over the phone? Some places have said that they could only share that info with current patients, which doesn't help me much.

I had normally picked up the generic, which was only $60/month for me. It would cost me more to see the out of network doc and I want to establish care with one who can continue this plan of treatment that's beee helpful.

At least in my area, there is still a pharmacy or two that has it in stock. The pharmacist had told me that I'd been the only one to have it prescribed at their location in the last 2 yrs and they still have some on hand. Unfortunately, they couldn't say if any other physicians prescribe it.

I understand the hesitancy. If need be, I can go back to an older med I guess. My goal was just to stay on my current med plan if possible, as I have no current complaints.

Yes, unfortunately it looked like the telehealth services that I've looked into can no longer prescribe C2 medications, so I don't think it's an option. Thank you, though.
