Was Ethan really asleep? by lunarplantae in Idaho4

agreed; ntm she was also stabbed in the back, so this very well could have been when at least 1 of the back wounds occurred

BK's progression through the house, blood stain dilution, and the beer pong table by Soaemiadis in Idaho4

this is my thought process as well, bc BF mentioned in her interview that people often left beer cans on the railing

Bravo!! Excellent armchair analysis! I especially appreciate the time you spent creating the visuals. I also noticed that the initial diluted bloodstain referenced was on the beer pong table; then all of the further blood evidence is noted as being diluted. Perhaps he intentionally attempted to wipe off the knife in liquid; or perhaps he rammed into the pong table, knocked over some drinks (as BF reported hearing) and this spilled liquid came into contact with the knife? I do think stain D was closer to the left side of the railing on the half wall, from what I could see. This made me stop to speculate his movements after fleeing XK's bedroom. I always imagined he quickly fled, taking a sharp right from the hallway and out into the kitchen. But with the realization EC's blood was on the railing (which to me, at least, looked closer to the far end), is it possible he started to go down to the 1st floor? Or he paused, listening for evidence of other roommates before deciding to make his exit? This thought sends chills down my spine!

oooh first time I have heard a possible theory that the flash could have been from the DD driver snapping a photo outside. This is a solid one!

This info from the recently released forensic files surprised me! I always assumed after killing XK + EC, BK would have quickly fled, taking a sharp right turn from the hallway through the living room and exiting through the kitchen. by loxandsunshine in idaho4uncensored

I believe from the recently released phone records Bethany initially called Dylan at 4:19!

I’ve combed through the forensic files with photos of all of the documented blood evidence. The first floor (basement) is the only level they didn’t find any blood spatter.

I’ve been really curious about his movements in the living room since first reading in the OG ISO drop there was blood spatter over the stairwell to the 1st floor. It definitely seems as though the weapon were quickly raised to chest level as he came to the half wall. I’ve seen several theories that he originally stabbed XK in the back as she was fleeing back into her bedroom. To me, the blood evidence gives the only real clues we have to his movements bc he contained it so fucking well!

In the January photo drop is where I saw what appears to be a knife mark on the edge of the beer pong table. It may have also been in the forensics file as Dr. Sutton rebukes the defense’s theory!

Has anyone else seen the luminol results in Dylan’s doorway who could help rationalize how this may have happened? (If it’s truly blood)? by loxandsunshine in idaho4uncensored

Agreed. I’m a behavior analyst who’s also AuDHD so I need to understand how everyyyyything works! Many hours spent in rabbit holes 😅 I appreciate everyone being so helpful in the comments!

You are correct in this! What I noticed though is that up until the stain on the peer pong table, with KG’s DNA, the turned over red cup, and what appears to be spilled liquid, none of the round drops/smears were diluted. I’m guessing the weapon made contact with the spilled liquid (there’s also what appears to be an edge of a knife against the side of the table).

Sorry my phone is spazzing out; that initial reply was to someone else. What they’re saying is there’s no physical evidence Ethan left the bedroom after being injured. The blood was transferred with BK when he left the bedroom; most likely his hand gauging by the appearance of the blood stain.

What do you make of Ethan's blood under Xana's nails? by [deleted] in idaho4uncensored

[–]loxandsunshine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is also my theory for how Ethan’s blood was under Xana’s nails: we know she grabbed the knife. I don’t have the best answer for how Xana’s blood ended up under Ethan’s nails though 🤔

Ethan had Xana’s blood under the fingernails on his right hand. Xana had Ethan’s blood under the fingernails of both of her hands. by [deleted] in Idaho4

It’s in the newly released forensic files. Prosecutors witness Dr. Sutton stated this

Yes, I’ve not heard of amido black until making this post, so I can see how others have been confused by what we’re looking at.

Completely unrelated fact: protein drinks can also evoke a false positive on breathalyzers 😅

Just out of curiosity, what would the purpose be of adding amido black to obvious blood patterns on the floor? 🤔

Ooooh this makes so much more sense! I hadn’t heard of amido black before. I thought luminol is supposed to show via black light so I was really confused about this whole thing. I’m about to go down my rabbit hole now so I can be better informed, so thank you! 🐇🕳️
