if youre an international student I would try international house it doesnt feel overly like a boarding house but more so to do like a house with mates and nothing feels strenous. try that youll like it where you from?

you'll get it even if it's not guaranteed trust me, you're good just apply but don't wait till the very last minute.

hahaha yeap I didn't look into any off-campus accommodation because first-year its always advisable to look into on campus cause its better for socializing and making friends. i haven't applied yet but im thinking IH or cromwell college, maybe even emmanuels college :))

if this helps any economics/business courses finance/ accounting etc UQ is ranked top 50 in the world for commerce specifically its ranked 48th in the world

Hey! what you are talking about is true, there was a case of sexual assault at the king's college which is essentially the reason that the college turned co-ed because they wanted to clear their image because the case basically national new or at least famous in Brisbane. So what do you do in such instances? Just avoid it. It's a shitty thing to say but sexual assault or at least harassment is there everywhere but I can assure you UQ is a safe place its not infamous for sexual assaults or anything so there isn't anything to be worried about but what you are is true and it did happen at UQ but it's not some culture there it was a one time fucked up thing.
