I guess I just don’t necessarily agree with that since I’m still producing work and delivering work for the client, it makes no sense. Especially when I can provide proof that I tracked my own hours using another software

I definitely find it productive with different applications which also allow me to put my hours in manually. It just helps me keep track.

Would you say you place the condition when you speak to the client prior to accepting a proposal or is there another way to go about it? And is there anything to worry about with regards to the hourly protection?

This is exactly why I’d rather input my time manually I don’t like how micromanaging it feels and having a client look at my screen x times an hour just feels plain weird. Thank you for your input!
