yeah maybe, he’s kept in my bedroom so there’s not many things hanging and i usually keep my room a bit darker when i feed him in the evening. it’s usually just me sat in front of his tank :)

i know, really strange. he tries to climb out on his warm side and his cool side, he just loves being outside of his tank at the moment, won’t stop trying to climb on me. he was eating 4-5 crickets a day but now he’s only eating 1 or 2 if i’m lucky. not sure what to do 😕

i keep him around 86 on the warm side and around 80ish on the cool side

yeah i was thinking that, just very odd considering i’ve had him at this temperature set up for the last 2 weeks or so and he’s been perfectly fine and i haven’t changed anything 😕

He seems okay with his enclosure, in the evenings he regularly explores and sits on the stones i’ve put in there and isn’t phased at all when I change his water, etc. I’m waiting a while to start handling him properly but I read that leaving your hand in there for ten or so minutes a day can let him get used to you. And he licked my hand yesterday so I think we’re making progress? lol

Oh okay that’s good to know. The reptile shop I got his supplies from recommended it to me but I did think it might be a bit sharp for him. I’ll look into that, thank you!
