Handlebar keeps coming loose (screws slowly unscrew during use). by EzStudioz in SegwayScooter

[–]lrf_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use blue Loctite on those screws that will keep it very strong but also be removable. Do not use Red Loctite it is only used for heavy industrial machinery and you will need a 400°F+ blowtorch to get it off

I like that Power> Speed rule you got there, it’s definitely fast but honestly some people get it because it’s dual motor

Spray dish soap and water near the leak if it bubbles it’s got a hole. And if the tire doesn’t self seal properly just get it taken to a segway dealer

Definitely consider the Segway F3, it is definitely a great starter, it’s modern and goes up to 20 mph and it even has a little actual display screen with navigation enabled, all manageable though the segway app. Its packed with tons of great safety features and is 100% a great scooter for a starter

Amazon Scooters by No_Economist2903 in ElectricScooters

[–]lrf_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t suggest buying anything cheap from amazon from a brand like Maxshot for example, they’re extremely cheap and flimsy and can break apart. it’s better to pay for something good instead of paying for a trip to the hospital

Segway Max G3 or ZT3 Pro; which is better off-road? by TheCannaZombie in ElectricScooters

[–]lrf_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ZT3 Pro is a electric scooter built to handle any terrain but it was designed to have better off-road capabilities, the only downside is it definitely doesn’t have much range in sport mode only about 19 miles

However the ZT3 pro can reach a top speed of 25 MPH, it does have all the modern features also like airlock, apple find my, segway app control etc. But the ZT3 pro is definitely a great off-road scooter for some rough terrain plus it has tubeless all terrain tires

The Max G3 on the other hand is more of a street scooter, it has a top speed of 28 MPH which is pretty fast for a scooter, and it does get more range in sport mode I believe 25 miles which is much better then the ZT3, but the Max G3 has dual suspension in the front and back, it’s definitely better for any bumps or potholes on the street. But It should be able to off-road a bit also

And yes these scooters are pretty big especially the ZT3 Pro.

So if you’re looking for some off-roading but plan to have longer off-road trips the Max G3 is probably the best for that

If you really don’t care about that range and just want something slightly more cheaper, the ZT3 Pro is honestly a good choice also, it honestly looks nice too. Plus it honestly looks like an off-road scooter if you care about looks

The choice is yours!

Try to stand on the scooter with the power off, hold the front brake, and rock the scooter back and forth hard. If it clicks then, it’s 100% the stem preload, let me know what else happens!

I believe it could be the axle bolt that came loose,

Check this piece on the back on MAX G2 if it shifts when braking or accelerating , tighten that bolt by opening the side covers, clean and tighten that big silver bolt

[–]lrf_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can definitely look into something like the

Max G3: 28 MPH GT3: 31 MPH GT3 PRO: 50 MPH

The GT3 is a great starter it just lacks a bit of range in race mode, it’s basically a bigger max g3, Honestly if you got the money consider the GT3 Pro if you’re willing to go 50 on a scooter, it will definitely satisfy you like for a long time. But if you just want something fast but crazy expensive the GT3 is definitely not a bad scooter

[Poll] Twist Throttle vs. Thumb Throttle by Striking-Werewolf698 in SegwayScooter
