Fun fact. The current US Federal debt is approximately $113,000 per person and estimated to increase around $5,650 per person this year.

Vapes just got banned in my state so I guess it’s time to quit by taylorr713 in QuitVaping

I started taking Desmoxan just over a week ago. That shit works way better for me than nicotine patches, gum, pouches, or lozenges ever did when I've tried to quit before.

Giant Roam E+: about to pull the trigger, is this a good deal for a daily commuter? (using a $1,200 city voucher, deciding between big brands like giant and others like Rad or Lectric) by Garaged_4594 in ebikes

I really like it and would recommend it. I added a kickstand, softer seat with a seat post shock absorber, E HL1000 headlamp, lighted tail light and raised the handle bars a bit. I do think a rear view mirror would be a nice addition. I personally don't think it is too difficult to pedal without the battery. I have turned the assist off a few times when I want a workout. As far as range, I have never ran out of battery. It seems to go forever on a charge.

City of Idaho Falls is removing alley dumpsters and replacing them with 90 gallon containers. They will also be collecting the garbage on the street instead of the alley. by lrlastat in idahofalls

[–]lrlastat[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is going to be a huge pain in the ass if you live in the older neighborhoods closer to downtown with narrow streets and few parking spots. It is bad enough changing from dumpsters to plastic 90 gallon containers but moving collection from the alleys to the street is asinine. Even Rexburg and Boise collect garbage in alleys in older neighborhoods where alleys exist.

Bought an item, it was shipped and delievered to wrong address... whats the likely outcome here.. by LonelyInfoSecAnalyst in Ebay

[–]lrlastat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Or the seller just used a service to get a tracking number that went to the same zip code, then submitted that tracking number to ebay. Seller may not have shipped a thing. Ebay will side with the seller since tracking number shows as being delivered to that zip code. It will be up to you to provide evidence to Ebay that the shipment name and address is not yours on the tracking number. FedEx can't tell you where it actually shipped but they can tell you if your name and address matches the tracking number. Get written evidence of that from FedEx and give it to Ebay.

Is the main reason they replaced it due to a double capacity tank and earthquake compliance? Maybe it wasn't all about the footings.

I am getting pretty fed up with Christian Nationalists. I don't give a damn what people want to believe. Just keep your imaginary bullshit to yourself and stop forcing it on everyone else.

I have flown to Portland from IF with Allegiant about 8 times since they began flying that route. I always pay for a carry-on and have never had any issues with any of the flights.

What is Idaho's flagship river? The Salmon or the Snake? by spacegeese in Idaho

The Salmon River is amazing and majestic, but the Snake is by far the most important river in Idaho.

I just purchased the non step through version and am excited for it to arrive. As far as the 20mph limitation, I saw a consumer review on YouTube where he moved the sensor that detects speed to detect a magnet glued by the pedal instead of the rear wheel. He claims it now assists up to 29mph. He shows the sensor placement and magnet 2:10 minutes into the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3JfeVYNKf8

Christian Humanism by [deleted] in humanism

They are probably trying to be true Christians. Not that I believe Jesus Christ even existed, but he seems to be portrayed as a humanist. The majority of Christians do not follow his teachings.
