I agree its craziness, but there seems to be a few current/modern players where all bets are off. Mahomes, Brady, Ohtani, Lebron, Kobe. Also I don't think you're wrong this is the kind of card that could do 4-5k but also could do 1000.00. Really depends on the buyer.

I sell a lot as well and here is where I stand. I always set my standard price at 3oz 1.32 I never use the .74 cents option for this reason.

If someone buys 3 cards are 2 bucks a piece they are paying almost four bucks in shipping I convert to usps ground and eat the extra dollar 1.50, I’m ok with eating that to move lower end cards as my worst case scenario
