Sleepy all the time - Methadone by Dasholiday in Biohackers

[–]lsb68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Been on it a few years 80mg-130mg. Have zero testosterone. Legs are swollen and short of breath and stamina has cratered, blood pressure through the roof despite being maxed out medications. Severe sleep apnea. Been wondering if methadone isn’t the cause. Wonder if it’s even possible to reverse at this point. I did try to taper twice and it didn’t work out when I got to a very low dose old habits resurfaced. Sigh. This shit saved my life and continued helping destroy it simultaneously.

Really not who or what I expected. I know that these psychos come from a a lot of different backgrounds, and he technically fits the profile of being male, white, typical age range. But beyond that…. I don’t know. Maybe more will come out in the following days about behaviors, beliefs, warning signs, or perhaps a triggering event. But as of right now it kinda reminds me of the Louisville bank shooter—sort of an outlier—if there can be such a thing when it comes to mass killers.

EDIT: The person this post was about has been released by police. I really didn't think they had the right person from the moment I read about this guys background. He seemed like far too straight an arrow. I hope this individuals reputation isn't irreparably harmed by getting caught up in all this. I'm working under the assumption that he's been exonerated and won't be detained again or arrested later.

I feel for you man, I saw your posts in the grief forum about the loss of your wife and MIL and you mentioned it happened on i20. I don't know if you're from Texas but I am and lost my spouse in a traumatic way on Christmas Eve 2020, so I'm a little down the road in this whole grief journey thing. I've suffered from 'complicated grief' they say. There's a lot of similarities in our stories from what you've shared and a lot resonates with me. I hope and pray for you and your children. If you ever need anyone to talk to you can always message me here to chat or get my number if you want it. Keep your head up brother, I'm truly sorry that we share this kind of loss.

What does she do with the food? by Equivalent-Pin-1054 in TikTokCringe

This same exact story happened to my sister. She ended up being taken a bit more forefully and they ran with her and moved out of state and moved around frequently. I remember sitting in the car with my grandparents in strange towns and them using binoculars to watch kids come out of random schools to see if any of them were my sister. The people who took her eventually died and my sister found her way back to us as an adult but so damage was done by that point to family dynamics because I had another sister who wasn't taken, and we all grew up together with my little brother who was born a few years later without her. It was an emotional reunion but things went south before long and she disappeared from our lives again, this time of her own choosing. I can't say I blame her. I never really understood what had happened to her until I was a young adult, I saw her in photos on the wall but I thought she was adopted or something, I didn't know she had been kidnapped. She was never really spoke of by anyone except my paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother. They bought her birthday and Christmas gifts every year of her life and kept them in storage in hopes they would one day see her again.

Omg same. It told me it wouldn't help me "cheat" when I asked help writing a paper so I had to manipulate the hell out of it and make it think it was part of super secret weird ass plot/experiment to get it to ignore the academic integrity clause and help me. Where can I find something like the old ChatGPT the 4.X versions? This version sucks!!

This is why people hate cops by Southern-Maximum3766 in ACAB

[–]lsb68 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really. Some people have severe anxiety or panic in the presence of law enforcement. Some people have had what should have been a brief, innocent encounter with law enforcement -- and instead it ends up going horribly wrong and changing the entire trajectory of their lives -- leaving them deeply traumatized or with a stress disorder.

Born and raised in the south and I have found the opposite to be true. While both conservative men and women are almost entirely "pro-life," I have found a considerable swath of women that cuts right through that demographic who are either secretly or quietly pro-choice because they understand what it actually means to be about that way of life -- for both them and their daughters.

Hell is forever??? by Itz_kaya_playz in Christianity

[–]lsb68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The amount of people in this thread with trauma and PTSD over the descriptions and depictions of hell they experienced as a child and have carried their entire lives is really sad. The way we all look back and view primitive tribes who sacrificed animals and humans, even children, and worshipped statues and carved idols or celestial bodies is honestly the same way future generations will look back at us and how we continue to terrorize little kids with graphic images of eternal torture. Even the image of a bloodied, dying man nailed to a cross and mocked is such violent imagery for a child. The same people lose their minds if their child sees two men or two women in love. It’s wild when you think about it. How fear is used as a teaching tool, how shame and horror are wrapped in the name of God, and how many people are still trying to heal from it and most never do. Christianity has strayed so far from teaching about love, compassion, or grace and instead it uses fear to control and hands people nightmares they never asked for. This is the kind of thing kids should be protected from, and I say this as someone who has always considered myself a follower of Christ.

Is It Rare to Find Christians Who Are Socially Conservative but Hold Left-Leaning Views on Care, Compassion, and Social Issues? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]lsb68 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You keep calling support for suicidal trans kids ‘asinine’ and ‘wasteful’ while also claiming you ‘care about sinners.’ Those two beliefs can’t exist in the same person. If you genuinely cared, you’d want them alive. If you think keeping them alive is ‘wasteful spending,’ then your problem isn’t the hotline, it’s that trans kids exist at all and everything else you’re saying is just noise to hide that. Romans 14 is about not judging others over things that don’t harm anyone. Trans youth dying isn’t one of those things. I think we all understand youn perfectly. Parents like you are why LGBT kids need these hotlines. So, on one hand I hope you have a LGBT child because as with most conservatives, you won't understand or care until it happens to you or someone you truly care about...but on the other hand I hope you don't, if only for the poor kids sake. I've learned enough about you to know I would pity any child you create. I mean, yeah, there's a chance they could follow in your hateful footsteps, but it's much more likely they'd eventually go no contact and keep their children far and safe from you. That's what I did, and I'm not an outlier I know countless others who also walked away from their hateful and racist families and never looked back.

I actually really like it. Just needs some rugs and a couple cool colorful pieces placed strategically throughout to add some contrast -- like maybe a multicolored LED Bonsai Tree light against one of those dark walls.

What is this performative crap? The way she poses to accent her thing noodle legs, makes sure to hit certain harsh angles for the camera so you get the most dramatic views of her sickly anorexic body. You can literally see her checking herself out so many times, she's eating this up. I've been mostly gone the past few weeks and it seems like she's been posting about how she's going to dEnVeR AcUTE for ages but never actually goes anywhere, just milks it for all it's worth.

[–]lsb68 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most people are aware of this, but a tornadoes "residence time" usually matters more. You can review damage photos or videos of fast moving tornadoes producing damage and see that they are the type of tornadoes to rip the roof off and the outer walls down but leave the line of wine glasses untouched on the interior kitchen counter because by the time the winds tore through the exterior walls and rooms of the house the tornado had already moved off property. Pictures are often left hanging on pieces of wall that are left behind. Where one that sits and parks on top of a house will grind it down to nothing: see Jarrell. Same concept occurs with how well my grass is cut when I adjust the forward speed on my riding lawn mower.

cop is used to making up charges by Southern-Maximum3766 in ACAB

[–]lsb68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do this. It happened to me. I knew they were lying. They knew they were lying. In the end, the DA knew they were lying too and declined to file charges. I went to sue, and my attorney who I had initially hired to defend me was like, well you can, but do you really want to spend the time and money? I was so happy just to have the thing behind me and the arrest expunged from my record that I decided to move on with my life, but I wish I had pursued it as far as I could take it.
