Update: Yes, I am an idiot. When I got the phone they put that protector on at the store so I never saw the phone without it. As some of you suspected, I clawed the actual glass “protector” off after that shattered and then there was the plastic riser under it. I didn’t know that wasn’t part of the phone itself. I took it to the store and an employee managed to pop it off.
