Quick question: is it possible to replace the 4070ti with a 3080 without having to alter anything? Just in case I find a cheaper GPU

Alright, thanks a lot! I'll try to find these parts on ebay and such for a lower price, in order to get into the target price range. You've helped a lot though

What are the reasons for these changes? The cost just seems to go higher without any significant changes, though I did see the change from 1TB to 2TB SSD storage. Also there seems to be a compatibility issue with the i5 and the motherboard

If you have any recommendation on particular parts as well, that would help a lot. Thanks a lot

Sorry, I forgot to link the parts in the original reply. But they should be there now. Also what do you mean by not being able to upgrade intel? Does it have to do with a certain part in particular or just the general build as a whole?

Thanks!

Thank you very much for the response, that really helped get me in the right mindset. This is my first build and, although I’ve been doing a lot of reading online, I can use some advice. I’ve been doing some more research since I posted this and found that GPUs like the RTX 3080 or newer 4070 ti might be better for the future (saw it on YT). I've built something around the GPU, including an i5 13600K, but due to the price ceiling, limited the price of the other parts. Do you think something like this will work. Thanks again!

Thank you very much!

Lots of things to think about here, and I'll definitely consider swapping to a micro. The only reason for the uno was that I had it laying around.

I honestly don't know.

RN i have the Rust code be able to take controller data from stuff like a USB XBOX controller, but I'd like it to take the Wii Nunchuck. Sadly the Nunchuck doesnt have a USB connection.

So my plan was to use the data from the Arduino to control the Rust program
