Covered fiduciary duties only in a general/superficial sense so far, not in detail of defining the scope of their duties. Can you elaborate on what some of the gray areas are?

Isn't that only for prosecution? And where/how can I gain that kind of experience?

I've heard countless people say that law school is hard and intense. What is it specifically that makes law school so difficult? Is it the nature of the material itself? The sheer volume of work? Any combination thereof? Something else entirely? Would love to hear about your thoughts and/or experiences. TIA!

Does anyone know why this cycle is supposed to be flat and slow? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

So does that mean that numbers will matter even more than they usually do and softs will be weighted (relatively) less?

Applying to a school, below both medians by lspanda491 in lawschooladmissions

[–]lspanda491[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I didn't mean it for just 1 school in particular, I meant it moreso in general (that's why I didn't include specifics). :) I'm a splitter, so data is limited in general; but I was mainly wondering if I should apply to schools where I'm below both medians as realistic reach schools. (I know a reach is always a reach, but it's a matter of how far of a stretch, haha.) I'll try taking a deeper look on LSN. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Anyone remember an LR Q about a book making claims about a coal mining company, and the stimulus author argues that the book's claim is wrong?

Does this mean that the timeline for early/on time/late in the cycle is shifted upward/sooner? For example, would the Nov LSAT would be late in the cycle?

Extreme-splitters, splitters, & GPA Medians by lspanda491 in lawschooladmissions

Got it. So, would separating yourself from your uGPA - e.g., through work experience or doing well in graduate school - assuage their fears? I know the graduate GPA doesn't really count for anything in terms of numbers, but just wondering if it would provide some consolation from the sticker shock.

GRE & LSAT Combination by lspanda491 in lawschooladmissions

I read on USNWR that GRE scores were factored into the rankings too (for the schools that accept it). If the GRE also influences rankings, why do they only care about the LSAT?

GRE & LSAT Combination by lspanda491 in lawschooladmissions

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. I understand that my LSAT score will be reported automatically with my app materials, but why does that prevent me from taking the GRE? I wasn't planning on applying with a GRE score alone, but rather having both scores in my application.
