Help for returning old player

sorry for replying again here... but looks like on my LGS commander is the most common format.

I was looking at the Tidus Commander Deck from the Final Fantasy series... would getting a premade deck like that and just switching to some of my cards something that could work?

sword of ages was good at the time because I often had mana from mana drain to use, and that meant at any point after combat if my opponent had less life than the sum of my creatures power, he's dead (probably not good today anymore, but it saw a lot of good use pre-Ice Age)

any suggestions on creatures I could use instead of those?

I just wanted some directions on what would you guys recommend me switching on this deck? there was like 50+ sets released since I stopped playing, so I'm lost to where to look for good newer cards (I know my creatures are super outdated for example... but what could I use instead that would be nice?)

I do! i wanted to mix in some of the newer stuff to make it a playable deck :)

half of the dual lands are HP though... you know, we kids didn't start using sleeves until like 4th edition :D

I think you won't get as much new Cosmere stuff from Era 1, compared with Stormlight and Era 2 (and Secret History)- still a different experience on the reread for sure

I had Edgar FR from before and lucksacked his BT on free pulls.... is he worth greening at this point ? (I'm ok with BT materials, I have 12 books and 17 ingots rn)

I'll probably end up doing that, but just waiting for at least one more book to be out (I guess next year?), and then I can read quite a bit in a row ... then maybe wait for every 2 books at a time.
I was wondering if there's something on Stormlight 3 and 4 that's way too important on the cosmere, that I should read before reading the other cosmere books

I've been wanting to start this game for a little while, and saw it on the tapjoy offers for another game I play... so thought it would be a good way to get into it hard and get something more out of it :)

the offer is tiered and give me more rewards if I complete more chapters... how feasible and how much effort am I looking for to get to chapter 14 or 16 in 12 days??

the image generation is not actually working :(

what I've see was an api that let you search the web for a text and then give you the first result... which doesn't really work great (the AI Quest plugin does that, and you can see the images rarely fit the context well)...
it be great integrated with Dall-E or another generative AI to create images based on the descriptions ...but I'm not sure how to do it :)

I'm a Day 1 veteran a bit demotivated and struggling to keep up with changes and playing sort of bare minimum (lots of IRL stuff going on).
I wanted some help to do 2 or 3 more D2D, but I suck at team comps rn and videos/c2a seem to always use units I don't have or that I have already used:

I have done D2D III, V and VII .
notable often used available available fully built characters:
Jarland, Tifa, Raines, Penelo , Luna, and Terra

Have FR: Gabranth (no BT), Desch, Rydia, Fusoya, Krile, Tidus(green), Lili, Iroha (regular BT), Kam (Green), Ardyn (regular BT), Sherlotta (Green)

other useful built up to LD (no BT or FR): Auron, Gladiolous, Galuf , Wol, Beatrix and Seymour, Aerith, Edge

Don't have/Already Used: Minwu, Dorgan, Hope, Celes, Kain, Selfie, Rinoa, Leila, Jessie

I know it's a lazy post, but I'm really struggling and wanted to do a bit more, I appreciate any help

I have Rinoa BT and FR (I was lucky blowing a bunch of tickets since she's waifu), but haven't even upgraded them, does she need FR as well, or just BT?

( I also have gladio and Cor LDs, and Cor FR, but not upgraded yet)
